you could probably just leave the parts in vinegar and water solution for 10 minutes and it should get rid of the calcium

I use oven cleaner, spray it and let it sit overnight, I use a flashing to see if the housing is plugged on the smaller end , that's the only way I vsn see if it's plugged, to clean the smallest I got I brush Thai put on a drill and clean it that way
Just make sure that your oven cleaner is chemical free and toxin free.
That you so much for your cleaning tips…..you are so knowledgeable. I have a question in cleaning though. I noticed that you completely submerge the filter housing when cleaning and soaking not sure what you did. I did read on Angel’s web site not to submerge the filter housing (which I have done) so the magnetic sensor world not get damaged. What are you thoughts about this, since I’ve already submerged the filter housing? Thank you!
When I clean the juicer, I submerge the filter housing in the water without any problem (so far) and I have been using this juicer for over 4 years now. I personally don't think it is a problem because it is stainless steel, there is no way that water could get inside and damage the magnetic sensor. But, I could be wrong through.
Does the wire brush and pad not scratch the gears and housing on the Angel Juicer? Also I live in a hard water area, will the fine holes block easier because of the build up of limescale from the hard water ?
The wire brush and the pad doesn't scratch the gears because the gears are stainless-steel. I do not think the hard water will make the fine holes be blocked faster because it is not like the gears are immerged in the water for long period time. It is important to give the gear a good wash at the end of each day and do a good clean every few months. Happy juicing!

I want to open my own vegetable store juice,, what model would you recommend me :) ?
It all depends on how busy your vegetable juice store will be. If not too busy and you service one customer at a time, Angel juicer is great, because you can juice 4-8 cups of juicer between cleanings. But if you will be busy having customer line-up waiting to be served, you should consider a two setp juicer such as "Pure Juicer" which will allow you to make larger amount of juice at a time. Just put the parts in the dishwasher. Works every time. Angel recommended that. Did that with my Norwalk parts too before I sold it for the Angel.
Do you use the reverse function much in yours? Is it worth the 8500 over the 5500?
Thank you for the input. I never thought about dishwasher as we dont use our dishwasher anymore. I do not use reverse function and I think model 5500 is great for home use.

@yukizhan3982 there is no surgical grade stainless steel. This would be 304, 314 or 316 stainless.
What juice is that 5500?
What I used is 8500, but I recommend 5500 to my clients
