Hope you enjoyed the video! Merry Cursemas everyone!
The Cursedmas Season is finally here.
It is actually a big problem to just give someone a surprise pet as a present.
The dog commercial is trying to aim at how dogs that get adopted during the holiday season but usually get abandoned soon after because they weren’t able to pay for it etc.The numbers are pretty sad.
The bounty ad is a joke based on the fact that the celebrations chocolate selection box is quite frequently seen at Christmas parties here in the UK. The box includes mars, twix, snickers, etc. But when all those run out it's pretty much just bounty bars left and they stay like that for weeks.
The Burger King is now canonically an arsonist
The fact that a naughty website made a christmas Commercial just blows my mind
that "naughty website" commercial looks so wholesome that it feels just wrong..........
This is maybe the gentlest "Pets aren't for everyone" kind of PSA I've ever seen. I'd recommend watching some others, byt they're maybe a little too cursed for a 1 to 10 scale.
Having worked closely in pet care, I can 100% tell you, that ad needs to be aired. So many people gift animals that the recipients have
The Kevin the carrot advert is actually something most look forward to here in Ireland. It’s kind of a famous character.
I remember back in 1996 when the live-action '101 Dalmantians' came out, a ton of people adopted a dalmantian and 6 months later, the shelters were packed with them. This is a very hyper breed, you see.
“Mom, mom! Wake up! Chadtronic just posted a holiday special! It was my Christmas wish!”
If you think the "if you give a damn, don't get a pet" PSA is 10/10, you haven't yet seen "give us a pound, or we'll have to pull the trigger"
yeah, I actually see the result come up a lot of times where pets as gifts do not go well for kids and the animals usually dont have a good ending. Maybe not as much with cats or dogs but its the small animals that more often then not get the short end of the deal when the parents arnt invested. Parents just get them to appease the kid and do little or no research and stuff them in tiny death trap cages because its convenient and looks like a toy so the kids like it. Kids typically looses interest and the animal dies early or gets passed around and neglected further tell it dies. I mean, its not always the case, but its way to common.
Chad: "I wanna see the Burger King and Ronald McDonald duke it out"
The Bounty one is an ad for Celebrations, which is a box of tons of small chocolates that you can buy here in the UK. It's making fun of how Bounties are the most unpopular of the bunch. Whenever I've seen a Celebrations tub with most of the chocolates eaten, the leftovers have usually been Bounties.
"Gift" pets are a problem year around- Easter and Christmas being the two big ones.
Just looked it up and it turns out Jungle Express is from Erie, PA. I'm sure Sam Catania knows all about them
Ah yes, the gift of fire...
