Such a beautiful song and the harmonies between Guy and Sam are perfect. Had not heard of Sam before this release … what a great voice. Would have liked a bit more of Guy’s vocals on this, but a really lovely piece of music. Nice review Charlie.

So true about Guy and John. John was well known in Europe but again Guy is very much a family man like John so he may be happy to stay home as well. At least Guy is getting out there in the worl via You Tube etc ❤❤😂🎉

Love this song. They performed it on aus idol too. They said it initially was written as their love letter to music and how it's been their Antidote. But they lyrically it's very broad and people would find their own Antidotes in the song and how it relates to their own lives.

Thought the choir would make your day. I’m still listening to it on repeat. I’m going to be very daring and say I actually prefer Sam’s vocals on this track. Guy’s still amazing though 🤩
I thought exactly the same about the vocal levels the first time I heard it too. Listened to it many times and my opinion has not changed they need to fix it, the lyrics are too good to be lost in the music.

@TheCharlieSmithChannel I just took the time to listen to your reaction again and when you said about getting older and not being sure - just made me think of the Help lyrics and how they mean similar to this - John knew what he was doing when he rearranged that song that's for sure. Love our Aussie boys - so genuine and real. ❤🎉
