It wasnt just adoption, it was kidnapping of these children and placing them into missionary schools. Some Mothers and Fathers never saw their children again. My great great grandfather died from the pain and heartache of his children being stolen. My great grandparents and grandparents were part of this Stolen Generations. It didn't stop until the early 1970s. People are still alive today and trying to deal with their trauma 💔

For 40 plus years I've been buying extra tickets and taking "newbies" to shows, in hopes I can turn them into addicts, like myself, to help support the activity. It's always been a vastly underappreciated activity, when in truth people should be lining up for days for the privilege of seeing these amazing kids. Yet another of John's concerts that I went to 3 times, and I cried when he sang this each time. I could never go and see him in each concert only once lol. John's music has always been there in my life since my teenage years (I'm 70). It's been there to help me celebrate the good times, and it's picked me up and soothed me in the bad times. His music is healing. Even now, I still listen to him every day. My children and my grandchildren know all his songs and love him as much as I do. Thank you so much for this beautiful reaction, Charlie. Although you've done a lot of reactions to John's music, and I've loved them all, you still have many more to go. Actually I have been thinking about why John is finally being heard and appreciated - I think the world is reaching out for true and genuine music - not AI, no auto tune or pitch corrected. Just pure emotion and love - no ego at all and also live bands backing up. I very rarely listen to new stuff - except Guy Sebastian and other similar genuine musicians. ❤❤❤

I love your reactions. You understand how much labor and time this takes to get on the field for a 15-18 minute show. You react in such a way that we want from many of our family members and friends but so rarely get! It is something that you never fully get out of your “system” even after many years of not actively being in the sport - I still trek every year to Indianapolis to watch the three days of DCI.
