For those who aren't aware, Julien recently updated that Kermit is an old man now and suffering with some old man issues. He's losing his hearing and getting confused. But of course he is so extremely loved and well looked after as always. He's the luckiest nasty dog in the world to have such amazing owners. Love you Kermit ❤

ItsAmyrah Kermit and Peach are Italian Greyhounds so they’re very very small. A standard greyhound is around 4-5 times the size of Kermit.

Man, I miss Jenna. Went back to watch these and Kermit’s crying made my mom’s dog start crying. Crying domino effect, lmao. Heard in another comment that he’s getting old now, and has some hearing issues and a touch of dementia. He was always treated incredibly well (better than most), so I’m sure his life with Jenna and Julien was the best he could have ever got.

Marbles eating off the floor is relatable to one of my cats who for the life of her would not eat in a normal cat bowl. We had to use one of our dinner plates because she would watch us eating off of it and think that's the only place food was supposed to be (in a sense, she wasn't wrong)
Another potential reason is whisker fatigue- their whiskers are incredibly sensitive, so eating from a bowl where their whiskers touch the edge is kind of sensory hell for them. It’s why so many cats only eat out of the center of the bowl when they do eat from one.

You know I found that whole particular scene quite funny because my dad used to have this Akita who would obsessively lick my moms feet and only her feet. In this case though it was kind of an interesting situation. My mom had this weird illness called Guillain barre when I was 8. It left her feet, just her feet damaged. Mostly numb but somewhat paralyzed. My family is pretty sure he sensed something was wrong with her feet.
That said it’s Kermit’s way of showing he cares perhaps. Dogs are odd but iggys are even more so. Kermit kind of reminds me of my old Iggy. Same neurotic attitude. Same giant ball of love.
