Marissa Ward from what i understand (at least on my skin tone) henna just doesn’t stain on facial skin bc it’s a lot more delicate than other areas. natural henna from hand makers in india might be the best bet
I think it depends on what type you get, like if they are amazon ones with chemicals or real natural henna like from henna caravan, which has natural henna

My guess is that she researched it and spent money on better products. I use henna on my hair. Henna is red-slightly brown. So anything that comes out darker has indigo in it. Much of what is available that is labeled as henna isn't henna at all, it's indigo. And it's like putting deep brown-black ink on your face. She used the real stuff and it showed by how natural it looked. (By contrast, henna tattoos done by Indian women is very thick henna and it's left on for many hours so the pattern will set. Having had henna drip down my ears while I waited for my silver hair to dye, I can tell you it takes a few days of scrubbing to get rid of a heavy henna set on your skin for two hours.)

@@dpofahl same... I feel bad for typing what I did. Watching this whole video I kept crossing my fingers and praying that it would work for her. Considering the end result and that each layer added more dimension to them, they looked pretty natural, so I'm not entirely sure what she was going for. Maybe they will darken and give her what she wanted though.

Dear Jenna, I would like to let you know that since I've seen this video three years ago, I do fake freckles on my face every couple of weeks or so when I wanna look a bit extra with SELF TANNER. That I bought just for this purpose. And they do ✨work✨ for me. All because of you Jenna. Thank you girl. (I also have brows that don't make sense and I fill them up with self tanner as well. To basically poop stain the bit of skin that is supposed to have hair and give that illusion 🥴🥴🥴 does it look natural? ... Maybe. But I do like to fuck myself up as well so I don't really care beech)
