I remember watching this video when it came out. It made something click in my brain and I’ve been obsessed with plants since. My house has around 40 plants and this is my second year on my outdoor vegetable garden. It has helped my mental health tremendously. I’m now trying to open a community garden in my neighbourhood. Jenna marbles taught me the wonders of soup. Now me and my brother have an event called “cowboy soup night” where we spend a day picking out ingredients together, drinking beer and cooking soup together. We don’t make actual recipes, we just take turns picking ingredients until we find some sort of theme. Someday though, I want to make Italian wedding soup purely so I can know the joys Jenna and Julien experience in this video

I just came back to remind everyone how horrible the editing of this video is. 😂

I just clicked on this video after scrolling past so many things. Immediately I’m thrown back into the feeling of finding something good and fun on the internet. I feel like since Jenna has retired (thank you for your service) it’s been harder for me to find things to feel good about, and I’m glad these will always be here to remind me what it looks like. I’ve been watching since I was too young to watch and she genuinely shaped my sense of humor and how I treat other people and myself. I guess that’s what they call a role model.
