      You don't have to put rice noodles in boiling water just pour the boiling water over them and let it sit for a few minutes and then drain the water, they are thin so it doesn't take long.

      You’re right. After done cooking, then wash the noodles by rinsing with cold water until all the stickiness from boiling the noodles is gone. Thanks for your input 💜🙏

    How long should you boil very thin rice vermicelli noodles if you're planning to stir fry them? Because if I boil it for 15 mins it will get soggy in the pan.

    • @cookingcutiepieAI
      @cookingcutiepieAI  Před 8 měsíci +19

      Hello there! 👋 sorry for the late response. If you plan to stir fry the very thin noodles, then I would suggest you let the water fully boil then add the noodles in stir and let them cook about 5 minutes or so and take it out. Drain and run under cold water. Maybe add a little bit oil to prevent them from sticking together. So when you stir fry, the noodles won’t be too soggy. Hope that helps! Good luck. 🙏❤️

      You’re welcome. Try it out and I hope you will like it. You can make it into cold noodles salad, pair with spaghetti or Alfredo sauce, pair with any kind of curry (green/red curry), and you can make stir fry with it. Also so you can make any clear soup and paired with the noodles as well. I hope this helps.

    Do you have any tips on how to dry out your noodle afterwards other than paper towel? THe noodles are very wet after rinsing with cold water - I am making vietnamese lemongrass pork but I wish I could dry my cooked noodles less saturated with water

    • @cookingcutiepieAI
      @cookingcutiepieAI  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Hello there 👋 the best way to dry your noodles is to cook the the noodles first and then make your sauce or broth after. Yes the noodles are very wet after rinsing with cold water. The best tip is that after rinsing the noodles, you can shape the noodles the way you like then put in the colander and let it sit on the counter for about 10-30 minutes. After that your noodles should be dry not wet or soggy and ready for your Vietnamese lemongrass pork recipe. I hope this helps. Good luck 👍❤️🙏

    Follow this video ONLY if you like extremely overcooked vermicelli noodles that turn your stir fry into a soggy mess. Ask me how I know. 😅

    • @cookingcutiepieAI
      @cookingcutiepieAI  Před 8 měsíci +9

      Hello there, this video is only specific for cooking your noodles for others dishes like you adding both or soup in, add all the condiments in them enjoy it. I didn’t give instructions that it was cooked for stir fry. If you want to cook your noodles for stir fry, I would suggest you reducing the time you cook them. For example: if you cook thin noodles, once the water is fully boil, add the noodles, stir and cook them for 4-5 minutes until they become a little tender then remove from the stove and rinse it under cold water then drain it. As for thicker noodles, cook them about 6-8 minutes and repeat the process above. If you don’t want your noodles to turn out soggy, I also recommend you not boil your noodles just soaked your noodles with warm water about 20-30 minutes or so until noodles become soft enough for stir fry. I have never cooked my noodles this way for stir fry before so I have no idea. I hope it turns out better for you next time. Anyway, thanks for your support!❤️🙏

      @@cookingcutiepieAI How that step is not common knowledge is well beyond me. It certainly is where I grew up, sorry for the poor unfortunate souls elsewhere.

    • @cookingcutiepieAI
      @cookingcutiepieAI  Před rokem +1

      @@Ice.muffin that’s great! I only share my personal experience with others that haven’t tried it this way. As for some people, they only know the common way that everyone do ( boiling water, add noodles, stir quite often to make sure the noodles are not sticking/ burning on the bottom of the pot). I find that this way is much easier than the other because you boiling water, add noodles , cover and let it sit for 15-20 minutes without stirring. After that you only rinse the noodles with cold water and ready to be served. If you already know then that’s good for you. Thank you 🙏❤️
