You can tell she’s been in the US for a while. Her British accent comes and goes, it’s a good mix. Also love how cozy and natural this show is!

I forgot about my laundry. While I was enjoying listening to this interview. I would need to get a bucket and mop to clean up a lot of water. I jumped up so fast when I remembered my washing machine is this running . Thankfully I didn’t mess up my kitchen or had to replace any appliances. 😂

Dear Drew: I have an amazing relationship with my dad. He's still one of my close friends. The best thing he did was be honest with me, and offer me a place of safety where I can share my mistakes without fear. That doesn't mean he didn't punish me-- he did, but we always discussed what was going on, why, if something bad happened why did it happen?, if I was being punished, why was that? What was the purpose of the punishment? What did he want me to learn? These very clear expectations and respectful boundaries really helped me want to earn and keep his respect and trust. He offered me a certain amount of respect and trust and it became very important to me to keep that. The thing that really fostered this was opennesss, honestly, not feeling judged even when I was in trouble or made a mistake, knowing I was loved and safe even if I made a mistake-- accepting punishment from my dad was easier because he could tell me why, what he thought was important, etc. He also APOLOGISED to me when he made mistakes, which also demonstrated humility to me. This taught me that it was OK to admit mistakes and apologise to other people, and gave me an example to live by. You can do it. :)
