yes oh my god why do people make such a big deal out of her accent all the time
people love saying she's too young to get married, but she really has her shit together. she's super mature, has everything figured out, and they've been together for years. it only makes sense that the next step is marriage. also, it's very common for people to get married at that age AND stay happily married forever. i know many people who've done it. I'm so happy for her. and why are people so concered about what a random celeb is doing with her life? it's strictly her business.
Considering that his parents were high school sweethearts and are still very committed to each other is a good sign. Plus if he ever mess up he can have his dad write a great apology song.
My husband and I got married at 21 people said this to us. we just celebrated our 23rd anniversary. I was very mature like Millie is as well.

Woah, her code-switching to American accent is so strong! Maybe it’s because she used an American accent from such a young age in Stranger Things that it’s natural for her to flip accents when she’s speaking to an American? As someone from London and now living in California, I find myself doing this a lot. And when I catch myself doing this, I do flip back to my usual accent. I never intend to code-switch , it just happens, and maybe I do it subconsciously for ease of communication 🤷🏻♂️
I lived in the UK for two years. I'm from CA and let me tell you the code-switching is real. It happened to me so many times. It was funny though when I came back to LA.
