    Excellent video! I had a 2013 Avalon with the same issue. Now my 2014 ES350 matte chrome trim is peeling around the shifter console. We Toyota owners expect a lot from our vehicles but I know that even Toyota isn't 100% perfect in all areas.

    Thank you for making this video! Have you experienced plastic creaking and pops from the infotainment area when going over bumps or temperature changes in the cabin? I feel like this plastic chrome pieces aren’t just terribly made but extremely noisy as well.

      Haven’t really paid attention to noise.

    How do you take off the chrome piece under the navigation system?

    • @TunerwithKids
      @TunerwithKids  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I haven’t taken that off but there should be 4 10mm at each corner after you snap off the vent and lower slide panel. It’s the whole radio unit.

      I think peeling is a tough task, isn't it?

    • @TunerwithKids
      @TunerwithKids  Před 2 měsíci +1

      @drmohamed6256 yes. I tried sand blasting but took too long and harder than peeling.

    JB WELD FOR PLASTICS on the back of the holes you drilled and that trim won't go anywhere.

    • @TunerwithKids
      @TunerwithKids  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Problem is all the tiny broken ones on the skinny part. These are just cheap plastic and bad design tabs.

    Toyota lost me on this, I will strongly avoid ever buying another Toyota, all of those cheap interior materials. Also a loose pin connector on the hands free mic cable that they never fixed from the day it was purchased, they have no honor, Toyota is a dishonorable Company.
