Andrew! Please don’t stop making these tips videos! They are honestly amazing and helpful! They are also soothing lol! Great content!
Damn, you actually know what you're talking about, unlike most influences shilling products
been doin hair for 9 years now and this was honestly the most solid brush break down I’ve ever seen!
Great content as always Andrew! Keep doing the good work!
Finally found the kind of video i needed after brushing through so many 😋 Great work man 👍 keep uploading 💯
A 9 row brush sounds like something I probably should check out. Thanks for the tip.
First time watching, thank you for no bs and sharing your knowledge.
Great video Andrew thank you so much for the info keep doing your thing man
Thanks so much for this! I used the boar brush like you suggested before but my hair is super long and stubborn so ill try the flat wrap and round brush straightening technique.
Thank you! Can you show us please on upcoming vids how to blow dry in detail with each brush? I'm very bad at blow drying hair😅
hey ADH!!! thank you for making this, i’m so glad you’re making videos again as you were the first person who really helped me understand how to manage my hair. i was wondering if you would ever put back up the original GHDCAJ video? or is that something you don’t want to necessarily associate with anymore? either way, thank you so much!!!
Thank you!! I wish I could repost that one, but it was removed for using music I didn't own (didn't know any better back then) and by that time I had lost the footage. I've thought about trying to recreate the message, but so much of it was out of my control, I happened to get the right models with the right hair, I happened to have a film crew willing to work free as a sort of passion project, and even my delivery of the information has evolved so much over the years that I think it would be realllllly hard for me to streamline it the way that I did back then (believe it or not, brief and simple is harder than digging into detail!). So I do hope to "recreate" a basics of styling video like that some day, but I look at it as a lucky perfect storm that I worry I can't recreate...
Great video. Very informative! Thank you
Thank you brother 🙌🏻
Very useful explanation. Thanks.
Hey Andrew do u prefer the 9 row brush over 7 row? Personally I found that with a 7 I can get volume in my clients hair easier because it’s not as bulky as a 9 row so I have more room to maneuver freely. Just wanted ur intake on this
Hey Andrew! I'm looking to buy a 9 row brush and wanted your opinion on which brand you prefer, Vess or Denman? Also, I'm discovering now that 9 row brushs don't stop at 9 rows! They have 5 rows, 7 rows, an 8 row, the 9 and probably more... So now I'm confused on the differences between them all. But I do know for I want to get a 9 row and wanted to know if you had a preference between the Vess or Denman? If you had to pick. Thanks brother! Keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you for video!
love the cx1 brush for flat wrapping but it’s a bit hard to grab tension for volume. do u have any tips on grabbing tension with the cx1?
Good stuff!
How do you feel about a wetbrush pro? I feel like I need to make sure my hair is perfectly detangled before starting to straighten them te prevent breakage.
I love this
Is Vega a good hair brush company? Should I buy their paddle, 9 row and round brush?
Thanks for this video. I really have trouble blow drying my hair properly. I'm a man with very fine hair. I want my hair to wave back (little bit to right). It keeps sticking up in the front .. I hate it. I use a small round brush. I think the grip on hair en brush is not enough, or maybe I use the wrong technique .. I will try again now I've seen your video (especially the part you said at 9:00), hopefully next time it will be better.
Hi, what'a the diameter of the round brush u used?
I have soft, fine and wavy hair. It's also receding What brush would be the best for me? Would the Ibizahair CX2 brush work for me?
Hi Andrew, what brush do you recommend for medium length asian hair (thick and straight)?
Start with a paddle brush. After that if you want more bend get a round brush.
I appreciate these videos so much! Unrelated to brushes but you mentioned blow dryers.. any that you highly recommend? I do majority male grooming.
My all time favorite is the babyliss pro Rapido. But I also really like the parlux 385 powerlight. Don’t get a dyson, they’re highly over priced, the don’t work half as good as the babyliss Rapido or parlux 385 powerlight
andrewdoeshair thank you ! Good to know about dyson, I’ve never been super attracted to it anyway.
After lockdown you should start making haircut videos coz they'll be great for your growth on CZcams
Can i get waves with straight hair?
VerzideGF seems like you didn’t watch the fill video, i think that’d be a nice idea and you’ll get the answer
Real talk... how do you organize your brushes? 😂 they always seem like such a mess around the station
Anything I’m not using gets crammed in a bag, out of sight and out of mind 😂 if I know my client and I know what to expect I’ll only get out the tools I need for them.
🐐
9:00 let me try
How many years should a quality hairbrush last?
I’ve had some of mine for 7+ years of regular professional use (8-10 heads a day, 3-5 days per week, 50 weeks a year)
@@andrewdoeshair Thanks. So they are very, very durable.
10:16 its not like a pink brush. yep, with a pink neon sign behind)
10:19 not that I’m opposed to pink
What about best hairdryer?
Babyliss Pro Rapido
Love your videos, thanks for response, I was just looking at the babybliss pro nano titanium
andrewdoeshair How come you stopped using the dyson lately?
Haseeb Shamsul I stopped using the dyson a few years ago. It just didn’t get hot enough, on some hair textures it literally could not polish the hair.
andrewdoeshair ohh wow, then it surely must not be worth that price tag, is it? Anyways, have you ever used the Phillips Pro Ionic 2100W? I have that one, and nonetheless it’s a great hair dryer but when i’m smoothing out my hair with a round brush, it tends to hurt at my scalp and when i reach the fringe then i can’t even touch the hair with it because a lot of smoke will come out..
I just purchased an ergo
What's the best comb for creating a side part?
A metal tail comb: shearworld.com/products/leader-carbon-comb-257-metal-tail-comb, or a plastic tail comb: shearworld.com/products/leader-carbon-comb-210-tail-comb?taxon_id=97?
Any comb should work. Put a finger from one hand where you want the part to end, then use the comb in your other hand and drive the first tooth straight to your finger.
@@andrewdoeshair Thanks.
