      @bluewolf37777 Před 2 lety +21

      I loved Blumaan when he first started but now he's too biased since he released his own products. He stopped a lot of the reviews for cheaper brands and ignores the most popular brands. Even when he reviews things he always mentions that he likes his brand better which doesn't feel authentic.

    I tend to use a paste most of the time because I have long hair. Gives it a bit of structure without making it heavy. My hair is rather thick and coarse, and the paste also helps with taming any frizz I might be having.
    Also combo that with some coconut oil after washing for a bit of natural shine and protection from the elements, perfection.

      Hi! I’ve been using powders for my hair for a while and I had the same problem at the start. The rule of thumb I’ve found with powder is less is more. Depending on which brand you use, if it has a strong hold once you work it in try to just sprinkle a small amount and use a brush to form it and then maybe use a little hairspray. Your hair may be different and your brand may be as well so this is just a suggestion!

    Hey Robin.. Question:
    If you were to comb your hair (with a wide tooth comb), how many hairs would you lose do you think? I just combed my similar length hair as yours, and i pulled out maybe 30+ hairs from the comb. Think thats normal? Male/26yo

    Powders are great imo, I love them its easy to use and easy to style the hair, I have a very soft hair and I get lots of compliments for it, my girlfriend loves touching and going through my hair so whenever i use a hair product it sometimes tend to get sticky, so i switched to hair powders and its way better for me 😅😅

      i just bought some powder but im worried my girlfriend wont be able to play with my hair with this stuff because it makes my hair thick and less soft. How is it making your hair soft?? mine makes my hair much more dry and dense, but its hard to run my hand through it

    Thanks for this vid. I have super thick hair, and am trying to grow it out for the first time. I was about to order some pomade, but I don't want to add any sheen to it. Thanks to this, it looks like I would need some paste instead.

    Any advice on a product to use on hair you want curled especially thin hair? I am in the process of using a product you suggested for progressive thinning

    You should make a video on the best types of powder, paste, clay etc.

    After using clay during the day, shall it be washed out off your hair, before going to bed? Like how we use to wash out gel out off our hair back in days... I'm sorry I'm old school... hehe

    I’ve used Crew Fiber for years and really want to try something new. Would you recommend shear revival paste then? Feel like crew can almost make my hair too dry/matte

    What would be best for me? I have thick short hair at the moment. Curly as well. I don’t want my hair curly, I’m trying to go with the new styles with the front of the hair high and shorter in the back.

    I have curls and waves in my hair and I'm looking for a product that would let me keep those, but give hold and a matte finish for a natural look and not weigh it down. Is there any recommendations?

    Hey Robin! I absolutely love your videos. Seriously the best on youtube by far. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for good products for my hair that are either fragrance free or have a very mild fragrance, as I have a rather high sensitivity to them (like the Moroccan Texture Clay for example). In terms of my hair type, it's fine, on the thinner side, long (slightly above shoulder length), and is 2A (on the straighter side). Any and all advice would be much much appreciated! Thanks so much! :)

    Robin i cant stand my hair after i wash and condition it. Its really soft but the its really "poofy" and just sits awkwardly on my head if you know what i mean. But after a few days of not washing, it becomes more matted but not in a greasy way and looks alot better and i can style it better w/o any products, do you have any recommendations on what to use to make my hair look like it hasnt been washed in a few days even tho its just been washed?

    I definitely have had the best experiences using pastes, with pomades coming in second for me. It's just so hard finding good pastes and pomades that don't contain either beeswax or lanolin, because both of them are really fricken nasty stuff but they're so common. I've been using Layrite's natural matte paste the most lately though, and it's really good.

      Why is beeswax nasty?

    • @ItsCoolerByTheLake
      @ItsCoolerByTheLake Před rokem +2

      @@krakengrad It has a really nice texture, but it smells horrible, and it dries your skin out a little bit. Nothing crazy, it's not like it's gonna give you really chapped skin, but it's a bit annoying.

    Heyyy! I'm new here and got a question. What hair product(s) would you suggest for an everyday basis, I don't want to do too much, yet I still want to look like I put in some effort and I want it to be good for my hair since its likely to be used everyday rather than occasionally?
    (I got thick, longish hair w an oily scalp) and I like the natural wet look I never know which products to use, hence I'm on your channel 😄

    Ok so.. I played RDR2 and you are able to use Pomade in the game I really wanted to try it out my self. But I thought people don’t use Pomade anymore! I got thicc hair and a lot of hair products won’t slick my hair back properly.. I definitely try pomade now!

    Much like the many. many decades that Men had no idea what took Women so long to get ready--
    I always said.. If it were for you, be flattered!
    Many of us without Brothers are now curious as to what goes into Mens grooming.
    (Thank heavens it does now-- it used to be simply a shower, maybe a shave.)
    Thank you for the peak on the inside!

    I've been using reuzel matte clay for a few years, but my barber used a power along with the clay and I liked the look. But it was hard to see how it was done. Can I use the powder to create lift and then lock it in with the clay? Or do I need to reverse the order?
