it is the frenchiest fry I’m really sorry if I offended you, I had no intention. This was just a joke that I thought was funny. I myself have watched and still watch a lot of anime and was bullied for a lot of things, it wasn’t meant to be insensitive trust me I know a lot about bullying after going through a shit ton myself.
I very openly liked anime in high school. Anime shirts, Naruto headbands, even a pair of cat ear headphones cause I think they look cool. Never got bullied cause I was friendly and everyone at least somewhat liked me. I did plenty of stuff like Naruto running and shouting Japanese in the hallway, but since I was chill with everyone I never got any trouble about it, we'd all just laugh at whatever I was doing and continue on our way. There is no good reason for being bullied, but if a bully was asked why they picked on a weeb, it probably wouldn't just be cause they like anime, it would be cause they're weird about it. There's a fine line between weird and funny, and some people just don't know how to stay on the right side of it

Okay, literally, in a literal sense, I do not have to bind my chest, but the severe depression and anxiety I have been diagnosed with means I have to bind my chest when going out in public situations. In the case of a fire, I do not have a choice now do I Milk sipper. If I have to choose my life over a general dysphoric panic attack, I will choose my life for the greater good of those around me.
And I generally, in my own opinion, don't see a phobic reaction towards furries as serious as I do of trans people, gay people, bisexuals, pansexuals, disabled etc. Sure it happens that furries also get bullied! I feel sorry for them, I do; but a furry is not an identity in my opinion. Furries are not part of the LGBTQ+ Community who get disowned, beaten, murdered on the daily. You can hide being a furry from the general public just like how you can with being trans, gay etc.. But it gets to a point somebody whos identity does not align with their gender at birth can't keep hiding it, because it causes such severe distress that they will go to drastic measures to do anything to change that - even if it means possibly compromising their safety.
And in my own eyes, I don't see how I belittled my own identity when I said I can't choose to take off something. In my terms, I meant I couldn't take off my chest - I can't opt to just pop my tits off and on when I want. I meant that in a way that the woman in this video can pop off her cat tail, her cat ears etc.
I distinctly said multiple times as long as she is happy, I hope she lives her best life; but terming it alongside trans terminology and making it seem like the same thing as transgender things. It is belittling to the severe struggle we face daily. We have opinions, consumer of calcium, we can talk like adults instead of getting heated lmfao. You are correct that I do not have self respect, I really do not - but I do have self control over what I do and can do, and what I believe so shrug.. feel free to keep this going, honestly, I wanna hear your opinion.
I would also like to backtrack that I don't know how to word furries being an identity, because on one hand I do believe they can be an identity! You have a persona in something that makes you feel happy - but 99% of furries know they can not become such a thing genetically, and a lot have it as a muse, an outlet. I will stand by my opinion that a phobia of furries doesn't exist, but it is really sad to how they are treated only for doing what they enjoy.

Story time
I remember being in high school and staying after one day with a friend - we usually did this and never actually went to a club or class, just walked around the school for a good hour. Anyways we were walking down one of the wings that led to a dead end hallway where the locker rooms and gym were, and we were just talking and joking around.
We stopped when we heard like weird meowing and growling when we turned the corner, and there was this chick (she was always pretty weird, and that's saying something coming from me because I am far from normal) crawling on the fucking dirty blue and white tiled floor by herself, with cat ears and a fake tail clipped to her belt.
