Love the truck I also have a 2008 6.4 silver paint , black leather 22x12 havok h110 . 5 inch rough country . bought it from a single owner that was 65 years old . I bought it with 120k took it straight to the shop and got it studded egr delete, mishimoto aluminum radiator, oil cooler . paid the guy 20k put 5k into it with labor also a few other goodies since I pull trailer all day long.
Why did you delete EGr? Would you recommend changing the stock radiator? I bought one yesterday at 90k for 20k

I bought 2008 for 90k one owner,lifted and all mechanical components are in stoke the previous owner kept a good maintenance record. Should I do anything to it to prevent any issues?

Kyle! Great question! PLEASE do your research before you buy a 6.0 or 6.4! Have it checked out by a diesel mechanic that works on Powerstrokes! 6.4's can be worse than 6.0's if they are higher miles, modified and or not built correctly deleting and or adding components (ex: "bulletproofed" head studs, oil cooler, EGR delete)! I dont want to throw hate on any trucks, but just invest time and research before you buy! Good luck brother!
Studs and egr are a must but once done they are great
@@RTM459 6.0s yes, with a bulletproofing. You can't fix the 6.4 not to mention parts pricing is double or more for NEW 6.7 parts since international produced this trash motor. Think about that.
Kyle Collinsworth It’s good. Just needs a lot of work done. Full straight pipe, EGR delete, and an air intake. It’s also crucial that it gets a light tune. Race tunes melt the exhaust valves. Also recommend a new water pump, regardless of current condition with premium gold Motorcraft coolant because it has cooling problems. Also, change the fuel filter religiously.
