I myself have been in a similar spot recently and it was a great time attending Milwaukee regionals with my brother who hadn’t played since 2010. Glad to see you’re enjoying the game in some capacity again as well!
Can you make a video about cards you want to see spiritually reprinted in SV from rspk and things you’d change about the card to fit this era? They’re printing cards like tera Pokémon, iono, defiance band, luminous energy, reversal energy, and pidgeot ex that are very similar or identical to past cards from that era so it’s possible for things to come back. Also TM cards and sp like Pokémon (future/ancient) are coming back in the next set.
I'm basically in the same situation as you. Haven't played much in awhile as every time I tried standard it was full of big basics, and lots of 3 prize Pokemon too. I'm glad that the game is starting to move in the right direction, and I hope it continues to do so. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Iono vs. Rocket's Admin/N. I think the cards play a lot more differently than people would think at first glance.
This is the first time since 2018 Lost Thunder that I've felt like there's been a good variety of fun decks to play around. I'm still holding out for the next rotation to remove VIP Pass before I commit to playing a lot, but I do like where we're going
@@thelostzonetcg You should try out the SUM-LOT format sometime. It's got its issues in the three top decks being pretty overly dominant, but it's got some of the wildest tier 2 decks of any format. Greninja Meganium is a particular favorite of mine
