Sudha Akka taught me few krithis/ poruthams in her visit to london in 2018. I was giving a performance a week after and sang a purandaradasa krithi in mohanam in tisranadai adi. She liked the song set up so much , asked me to record and send to her to learn herself. As guru MLV so is Sudha Akka as well. Great masters alike. Their thiirst for new learning is unquenchable.
After my comments on part 1, this part is even more entertaining and both of them exhibited their total professionlism and demonstrated how committed they are to foster carnatic music around the world. Thoroughly enjoyed..
IT FEELS LIKE ABSTRACT THANK YOU SUDHA AMMA YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND SO LOVELY TO THINK DIFFERENT DIMENSION AND MAKE AU TO SIT IN FRONT OF YOUR CHANNEL ,GREAT NO WORDS
This is a really beautiful concept, presentation and effort made by the whole MadRasana team and the two great singers. Episode 1 was also just too good. The best part of this episode was the Antakshari. It should have just kept on going. This concept of a one-on-one discussion between musicians is new and it gives so many tips to the people who are watching and learning. Looking forward to more such videos.
What an amazing brilliant interaction between these two great artists. Salutes, kudos, salaams, vanakkams, accolades. Just loved every word came out through you both. What is next. What a treat. I am in bliss.
San(g)deep , In Depth Were Your Exuberant Singing , Full Of Fun & Frolic😍🎼😍🙌😍🙋. Sudha Ma'am On The Other Hand, Full Of Radiance Added Hues Of A Vibrant Atmosphere👧👧. Anthakshari Was At It's Best . Njoyd Thoroughly. Thank You So Much Madrasana🙏🙏.
Loved the comment made by MLVamma about MSamma and RadhaAmma's singing of Bhavayami Gopalabalam...what a great song in yaman. I'm pleasantly surprised that SandeepNarayan is so grounded and intelligent...one of the most of the american-bred Indian young people, I have come across. Amazing to see him articulating well and making just the right amount of talk to the questions posed to him...agree there is no limit to neraval...etc but there is a limit to over talking... hope there are and will be more like him... :-)... our types (especially in south india) tend to talk too much in English - some without knowing enough of the language...and some talk only to impress...
I loved that Sandeep sang Vakulabharanam and not, say, Vasantha or Valachi. My heart beat so happily when he sang Vakulabharanam. Very creative of Sudha. Thanks for the raga antakshari; many of us cannot participate , but can enjoy :)
@MadRasana Official Perhaps the amateurs and rasikas who cannot do alapana can play a variation by singing the sahityam (pallavi or charaNam) instead of raaga alapana. The successive person must sing the sahityam of a song the previous raaga ended in. For ex: Person 1 sings ‘Vasudevayanee’ (KalyAni) Person 2 sings ‘Madhava mAmava’ ‘NilAmbari’ Anyways, very creative of Sudha and your team and excellently played by Sandeep. Stimulating.
Sudha, thanks for sharing with us some of your vast knowledge. When two accomplished artiste's communicate like this, the beneficiaries are obviously the rasikas. Interesting to hear that u are still learning (even after reaching the pinnacle) Interesting also as to how Carnatic music has evolved over the years. Appreciate ur childlike enthusiasm and Sandeep's clarity in expressing his views. Eagerly look forward to many more shows like this.
KINDLY HAVE LEGENDS CONVERSATION BECAUSE MANY LEGEND WE ARE NOT KNOWN ON ALIVE CONVERSATION AND TO LEARN MANY EXPERIENCE AND PAADANDHARAM ,LIKE R VEDAVALLI AMMA THE GREAT
Very Innovative and informative session.... Thanks a lot Madrasana.... Please bring more and more such sessions...... So greatful to you.... Both... @SudhaRaghunathan Amma and @Sandeep Narayan Anna...❤️❤️❤️
One of the most interesting conversations that I have ever listened to - please continue this series with noted musicians in conversation with each other
Brilliant conversations in both the parts. Really really interesting, insightful, and entertaining. Thanks a ton for doing something so simple yet so innovative
Sandeep has been living in Tamilnadu since 2002 though he was born and brought up in US. It would have been great if they had conversed in Tamil which is their mother tongue
The last part was excellent. It is like a combo of so many ragas tailed one by one. Almighty has distributed all his presence in the form of little talents amongst us. Music is one of the topmost form...
Though I don't know the basics of music, I was tempted to hear the complete conversion. I thoroughly enjoyed. We, rasikas are ready to enjoy such conversations. Sandeep's voice is superb. Sudha Raghunathan dominated by her tremendous knowledge.
So absolutely in love with the ragam Amritha Behag, in fact both the times when Sandeep has sing in Detroit, I had requested him to sing Kamala CharaNE.. just the structure, the chitta swarams of that krithi is too beautifull. so imagining a thillana would be awesome too. _/\_
Namaste. love your program. Can u please do an interview with Smt. S. Aishwarya and Kumari S. soundarya? Padma Vibhushan Smt. sudha Raghunathanji? these two are the grand daughters of bharat ratna MS Subbulakshmi and I listen to their concerts online quite a bit and I love their style and bhavam. thank u very much
S n S, this is called an interview that sails with SOODA super information in sharing india madiri SANDEEPLA 🙏🏼 பல முறை சொன்னேன் சபையினர் முன்னே தமிழ் மகள் கண்ணே.
Awesome conversation ... salute to both talented artists ... Just one observation Sudha ji, could you please adjust your camera angle... it seems like you are looking up, instead of looking at us. Please ignore if it is just me who observed this
To be honest, SN looked disinterested in this episode. Am I the only one who felt this? However, not taking anything away from the conversation. Absolutely delightful!!!

Hello sudha mam so happy to see you both of your conversations. Thank you so much.God bless you both.
Excellent take home for me ... learning is as essential and enjoyable part of our life just like breathing !
