I think her tone personally was not my fav either but I appreciate ALOT of the tone in this year especially 2015 but She was really hitting a lot of belts these two years!
That year was carried by the belts which were consistent because her tone wasn’t the most rounded and pleasant, her head voice was not working and she barely attempted whistles notes. It could be the reason of the year being underated from what i remember but she slayed ❤️

2016 was her best year vocally since 2010. Consistency, resonance, and confidence to upoer belts were clearly seen during this year.
