Aside that she's been performing for nearly 40 years ripping off insane riffs, runs at times consisting of more notes in one than most do in an entire song, oh & happens to be the idol of Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana of course, countless more; now to my point (LoL) most don't realize the larynx, like noses and ears, never stops growing throughout our entire lives which causes distinct changes in tone quality as well as adjusting agility. Most singers have short careers due in part to the voice changes, but you look at artists, excuse me- Living Legends- like Mariah & Celine who've been burning down trails & breaking records in their sleep, they've had to make several adjustments throughout their entire careers but the average person has no idea how much work & countless hours of understanding & accommodating their instruments sudden shift in nuances & then, without missing a beat, turn out yet another #1 album time after time, decade after decade. So give the Queen, of just about everything, a break and keep in mind none of us possess an instrument anywhere close to hers & will never comprehend what it's like to have that and then begin to lose it. She's gotta be feeling so many things because I can tell you as a vocalist my whole life,y voice is EVERYTHING & now at almost 49 it's changing faster than I can adjust so it's like losing my identity & like a part of my soul is dying, so I can't imagine what her level must be like. But I have full faith in her to adjust, refocus, & do what she's done over & over... Drop another album that further proves she's not a once in a lifetime vocalist but a once in human existence vocalist
@@concertandsingingvideoMariah sang that song with Mr. Bolton at the NARM convention on March 11, 1990, so she was 19 almost 20 at that time. So basically the two performances (teenager & young adult, per se) were only 4 months apart.
Great Compilation!! However, teen and young adult were the same Era. Butterfly would have been a follow-up to her after teen era. Her voice really showcased her raspy sound 😊
Me too! She is an amazing singer but she has chosen a way I don't like and that didn't suit her voice. Or rather, she doesn't use her whole voice and capacity anymore!
@@fredalwatkins4506 didn't know she was sick but I know about surgery and risk to loose your voice. I should have done a similar surgery and I refused because of the risk for my voice!
she has an amazing voice (not a fan of whistle notes myself though). i love her 'mature' voice the most because it reminds me so much of some of the best artists of the 60's and 70's...Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, and the like.
For those who don't know, she has always said that her tone of voice is in a low register, just like how she currently sounds. They almost forced her to sing the same tone as Whitney Houston, in the beginning when she was hired by the demon Tommy Mottola, and perhaps one of the reasons why nodules developed on her vocal cords would be because of this, forcing her voice to a pitch much higher than what she could have handled naturally and comfortably. IMHO!
Adult is not accurate because it is lipsynced and doesnt really showcase the state of her voice, which couldnt sound like that live with those big and high belts.
Why did Mariah get work done you can see it in the last video and that down was off key it was like she didn't know where to go not singing from the heart but the head
She still sounds good in that clip, especially the whistles she sang that weren’t in this video. Obviously, there’s been a vocal decline but it’s only noticeable bc we only have her insanely untouchable vocals from her better years to compare her to.
@@superninja6481 I'm still gonna stick to my own opinion. U have urs and I have mine. She been not sound good to me for a while. And thats ok as well. I loved her music in the 90's and early 2000's. Its just a no for me with this clip.

Teen - effortless, smooth like butter
Young adult - breath control, easiness
Adult - POWERRR, mature
Now - toneee
The tone now is not nice on my ears, sadly
@@jak30341 I was surprised like tone? That voice is fried. Sorry. She has nothing left to prove though.

The fact that The “Adults” and “Now” is 19 years apart.
She's a granny now
Mariah’s voice sent from god
Mariah will always be one of the best vocalists of all time❤
She was born to sing
I like her fucking voice
The last one is giving a beautiful 1960 voice vibes
Mariah always slays

Those two performances were only 4 months apart; you’re right, they’re exactly in the same era
"(Now)" 😭😭💀
I have this feeling she can do what she did back then if it's a really good day.
Mariah is in a league of her own. Period.
Teen, young adult, and adult were the best!!! She will always be one of the best vocalists of all time ❤

She used to be so amazing. I liked her music alot more in the 90s and early 00s

I love this beautiful talented woman. Lamb 4 Life. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The 🎙 Songbird 🎵 Supreme 🦋

pls do beyonce
Incorrect, Mariah was 20 in the video showing the performance of “We're Not Making Love” as she was born in '69 not
'70.
Can u do morisse or Ariana's whistle voice too❤
Young adult & Adult
You should put young adult from 1995/1996 era. Because that teen to young adult only 1 year gab 😂
🎶 😍🤩
Teen and adult. Best
First two clips were in the same year 1990. At age 20. A good second clip would have been Daydream area
Pls do Aretha Franklin
Much deeper and less bright. Nature
The first two clips she was the same age and year of debut lol
Her Voice is almost completley gone 😢
and you say that from a 3 sec clip?
Teen and young adult clips are like 2 years apart tf 😂
Wrong. She’s always 12😂
What do you mean NOW? Senior citizen?
Mariah's young adult is between her Daydream to #1s era, no?
You could have used a clip from music box as young adult
what is the first song name?(teen)
Quel est le titre de la première chanson?
Adult is not accurate because it is lipsynced and doesnt really showcase the state of her voice, which couldnt sound like that live with those big and high belts.
"now" should be middle age?!
How was she a teen if she was already 20 years old?
There are better clips for “now” nice little compilation otherwise.
Why did Mariah get work done you can see it in the last video and that down was off key it was like she didn't know where to go not singing from the heart but the head
The Best no more
The last wasn't a good example
I find that she screams and screeching too much rather than singing.
How was 21 a teen? Lol
Last clip sounds like karaoke the three first clips sound like a performance
The last clip was just her playing around doing random warmups it www stupid to include
Adult lipsync . Lol ....
The now voice is sad to hear, dry and no more magical
She has severe vocal nodules
It was good better than many ,stop complaining her to her prime.just appreciate her current singing
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 dry 😭😭😭
The Now, she's finished 🤣🤣🤣🤣
