Tusse slog igenom och imponerade med sitt artisteri när han vann Idol 2019. Redan ett år tidigare deltog han i Talang. Efter att han knipit en semifinalplats där släpptes första singeln ”My Soul Is Calling You”, som är en hyllning till hans bortgångna mor. Debutsingeln följdes upp av balladen ”A Better You”, en tolkning av Whitneys Houstons ”How Will I Know”. I våras släpptes Tusses första singel efter Idol, ”Innan du går”, som också är hans första låt på svenska.
19-åriga Tusse gör debut i Melodifestivalen med en låt signerad Joy och Linnea Deb, Jimmy ”Joker” Thörnfeldt och Anderz Wrethov.

- Min låt kom till när jag satt i en session med Joy Deb och Linnea Deb och gänget. Vi höll på att skriva musik, men inget kändes rätt och inget kändes nära hjärtat. Men sedan hade de redan skrivit en sjukt fin låt som jag fick höra. Jag sade bara: ”Det är ju den! Det är ju den vi ska köra.” Låten handlar om gemenskap, frihet och vikten av att alla röster ska få bli hörda. - Zábava
It's so weird seeing this guy on stage, I used to go to the same school as him, I even remember him singing in church in like 8th or 9th grade. Props to him.

It really reminds me of one of those typical songs the winner of X-Factor or the Voice gets. Great to showcase your vocals and kinda catchy, but also kinda generic and safe.

Edit: Most of the Swedish viewers are watching for entertainment, we don't really care if we perform well or not in Eurovision. It's not a big deal, get over it. I really like Dotter too, I'm just worried that some people might take the extra step and give Tusse hate if Dotter doesn't win.

I thought the song was bland by itself but THIS is how you elevate with staging!!! The background dancers in their position at 1:34 looks AMAZING and Tusse is so into it that I genuinely enjoy this, even despite his occasional vocal hiccups. Phenomenal!!!!
He was very nervous. He sounded much better when he sund his song again after he'd found out he was one of the two that went DTF.

It's not Sweden's fault the jury ranks them high. Furthermore, many viewers vote for Sweden as well. I think Sweden deserves the results it has achieved. You guys put a lot of effort in it. Everyone's entitlled to their own opinion of course but just hate a song because it's from a certain country doesn't make any sense.
