I work at the reception were all the swedish participants stayed and i can tell you that Tusse was for sure the nicest and most outgoing person i’ve ever met. Just such a nice, respecting and outgoing guy.

i met him at the idol tour the top 4 did after he had won, and he was genuinely one of the sweetest dudes i've met. he was just cheerful all the time, greeted everyone with such happiness and took his time to thank everyone. he deserves everything he's achieved so far 100%

@@palsletteng7379 I don't think that's fair, it was just not as memorable a song. It wasn't bad, which is why it didn't score any lower, but it was very forgettable and clearly fewer people liked it compared to the songs that scored better
It's actually a good pop song (and I love his voice and the backing vocals) but it didn't stand out.
It also didn't say Sweden to me. Sweden often produces good songs that could be on the US charts, but I don't think they're that great for Eurovision, where I prefer songs that have a link to European musical traditions. Ukraine and France and Switzerland were great examples this year. Portugal had a similar problem,they were a decent country western band, but country / western just doesn't say ESC winner to me. At least not in a year with many good professionally produced songs.
I don't think it's the reason because of his skin. If you listen closely yoh can hear every breath he takes during the song. That can be quite annoying. But his Song is soo good
@@palsletteng7379 this has nothing to do with it. This is a classical bland pop song. Compared to the other songs which ranked higher it just doesnt stand out. If conchita can win the Eurovision, it is just incredibly weird to assume this is because of skin colour:)

Everyone complaining about sweden AGAIN, every year people are complaining so much about the songs we choose. It is always like this. We liked it and that whats matters to me. And besides tusse is s great singer, he is only 19 years old so i’m proud of him.
This is the best from Sweden since 2015, something I actually appreciate. This isn't as mainstream as the stuff that's been sent before.

This is a song I'm going to return to through the years.
He is 19 years old, at 17 years old he won Swedish Idol. He is a true inspiration and Sweden loves him, he got the most peoples votes with a bang and also got the most votes from the jurys. The song is about how we are all worth as much, difference shouldnt matter and we are all worth to love. This is a strong message and I think this is part of the success along with a great person, voice and performance that is easy to like even if you only see it once, hence perfect for Eurovision. Go TUSSE!

Det är många stora Eurovision fans och det faktum att Sverige ofta gör bättre ifrån sig bland juryn än bland tittarna retar upp rätt många. I den "verkliga världen" tror jag inte många bryr sig så mycket.
(Sverige gör sig också ofta inte så dåliga bland tittarna heller, Ingrosso verkar bara vara färskt i folks minne, men 2019 var Sverige 9a bland telefonrösterna t.ex)
