    your cut tray is way better than the provided apron, the risers to bring it up to get level for use were a great idea and i will be mimicking the execution on whatever tube i end up getting, thanks for sharing all of your great mods!! those rod/camera holders are pretty involved and look awesome!

    That is so bad ass! Wow! I am going out for my first time on a float tube that I got for my Birthday. I jerry rigged a rod holder, with bungee cords,(don’t know how it’s gonna work) but then again I have no idea about anything I’m doing, except the fishing. I’m a good swimmer too, so I’m prepared for the worst. Haha! Never seen anyone use one. I have watched many videos on you tube but I can’t find any that answer my questions. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to ask you…. I have some fins that came with a face mask snorkle. I imagine I will want to get better ones, but will they work? Will they get me there? Also, if the tube loses air, is it harder to move? The fibs I have don’t have room for any shoes. Thank you. I love your creation. So much on there, and it is so efficient. I like your zipper too! Like a handle, or shifting gears. Great video. Picture quality good, I could hear you well and follow along and not get bored. I hate when people just start rattling on about something beside the point. Good job! And thanks.

    I used to have a Classic Accessories Colorado inflatable pontoon boat. The main problem I had with that boat were the dirt cheap bladders Classic used in them. I've read (and watched) several reviews on the Cumberland tube and I see a lot of people experiencing the same problem with the bladders. They are just paper thin. Classic doesn't even have replacements in stock now leading me to believe that when (not if) I get a hole in one I'm going to be out of luck. They are pvc bladders, not the much better urethane ones some manufacturers use. I've heard of a lot of seams leaking and they can't be patched. That's probably why Classic is constantly out of stock on replacements as I'm sure they have sold a ton of these tubes and people are ordering new bladders. If it weren't for the shabby bladders that let me down on my Colorado I'd have bought a Cumberland by now. It's a great looking tube but the weak point are the bladders.

    • @TheBashfulClam
      @TheBashfulClam  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks man. I just got it so no personal experience yet. However, they are pretty solid attached especially with the right sized hardware recommended by @FisherNewb. I can’t imagine they’ll move at all once I’m in the water. My Force Fins are almost here. I’m planning on taking it out to Lake Pleasant here in Phoenix next weekend. Check my post on the forum, I added some afterthought mods.

    It looks great, but with all stuff in i think it limits your casting space, you have to do overhead cast all the times...

    • @TheBashfulClam
      @TheBashfulClam  Před 3 lety +4

      This is true but what you see here is proof of concept. I don’t actually take it out fully loaded. The attachments aren’t glued in so it’s 100% modular.

    How do you cast being surrounded by rods?

    • @TheBashfulClam
      @TheBashfulClam  Před 2 lety

      I don’t. As I’ve said to many others in here. It’s proof of concept and modular so things go on as easily as they come off. I fish with 2 rods max and I have no problem casting. I put other things in the “rod” slots.

    • @TheBashfulClam
      @TheBashfulClam  Před 2 lety +1

      1. Thanks for your opinion that wasn’t asked for. 2. As I clearly stated in previous comments, this is proof of concept and not actually the gear I go out with. The whole point of this system is that is is 100% modular. I can add and remove whatever I want depending on my needs. And I also own a fully outfitted Hobie ProAngler already.
