The Western Cape in South Africa has seen a phenomenal amount of rain in the past week and this caused large scale flooding for the 2nd time within the same year. This has caused multiple damns to open the flood gates and rivers overflowing.
Many towns are experiencing lots of damage which includes businesses, houses and farms. Lots of residents are sitting without electricity and even some towns that are completely cut off, because entrances/exits to these towns were swept away by the water.
I will try and cover more of the damages and flooding within the coming days. Be sure to like and subscribe if you don't want to miss out.
My home the Western Cape . My heart goes out to everybody there All those who have lost everything and those who have lost more than everything and those who are counting the cost❤❤❤
Dankie vir die deel
Thank you. Your Paarl video shows mostly Noorder Paarl. We used to live in Suider Paarl along the main road near the N1. Is that area ok as it didn't make it into your video?
Yes, that area is mostly fine, only if you go down the N1 from Southern Paarl towards Paarl Mall, you will see the water did lots of damage. There is a part of Boschenmeer, I assume you lived kind of close to that area then (De Zoete Inval).
Thank you for the support!
@@ChristoffSmit That is exactly where I lived till 2013 when we moved to Spain.
@@trailrunplanetI actually grew up about 2km from there. On those small holdings towards Simonsvlei wine cellar 😊
Stop complaining pple drought is worst
Didn't see someone complain on here yet, think everyone is just concerned about peoples safety 😁
