      Brother, the connor fan base, pretend "the choke never happen, nor they wish to talk about it, Dana white even, until this moment tell every-one that during the second rematch nate was almost 200 pounds and that connor was 160, " which is a complete lie. Connor has been pamper since day one, due to the Irish Fan, he brings in to the table which generates cash. so yea I can see business part of this. But this guy is far from being a great fighter. Just to think that he until this moment, he has yet to defend his light weight tittle.

      @FirebrandAL Před 7 lety

      That's the thing. NOT taking away from Conor, but he's a BIT lucky that Aldo came barreling in in that fight the way he did - which he almost never does. Aldo's the ONE dude with better hand speed than Conor, so I think he avoids that left - it's a different fight. But alas, he didn't, so we saw what happened.
      Thing about this fight is that I think even most ardent Conor fans would admit - Eddie's an emminently more well rounded fighter than... well, almost anyone. His footwork is actually better than Conor's and he has a much deeper bag of tricks to draw off of. There were mutliple paths to victory for Eddie - and a somewhat smaller path for Connor and....
      Conor smoked him. Just total domination in every respect. The Aldo fight was half lucky punch, half mental games I felt. This fight was one guy's elite tools absolutely neutralizing a better, more well rounded fighter with a deep swiss army knife of weapons he could use against Conor.
      This is his signature win. It's not even close vs. the Aldo fight.

    • @richardjackson5670
      @richardjackson5670 Před 7 lety +4

      Hunter Golden How can you say Eddie had better footwork. It was clear who had the better footwork. That's what true boxer's have is great footwork. That's how Conor was able to maneuver and avoid Eddie the way he did. Eddie didn't stick to his game plan, point blank. He played right into Conors game plan and paid heavily for it.

    • @richardjackson5670
      @richardjackson5670 Před 7 lety +5

    Only point to Alvarez's credit - he took 4 or 5 shots that'd have been walk off KO's. Outside of that - he didn't show up tonight.
    Conor made an actual believer tonight. With one caveat. Khabib. I just don't want anymore farting around with fight gates and talk. That's the fight to make. The best striker in MMA vs. the best Grappler. Do it in Europe, Blah Blah-istan, Ireland, wherever. I want to see if Conor can beat the clear-cut next best guy in the world. He beats him - he's on his way to being the best - EVER. Period, end of discussion.
    He's starched Alvarez, Aldo, he beat Diaz, Holoway, Mendes. Tonight he made me believe he can beat anyone at LW. Anyone. Let's fight *that* next best guy. He beats Khabib, he'll be able to do whatever he wants for forever. That overhand left - the movement, the control, confidence all that stuff. He's once in a lifetime. Alvarez to me was the more well rounded fighter and chinny enough and technical enough (his footwork is AMAZING) to beat Conor and Conor flat lined him easily. He made a believer of me.
    Finish it and give Khabib a chance to eat his chicken.

    • @AceofDlamonds
      @AceofDlamonds Před 7 lety

      ahiskastl1 Nate was a strong opponent too but the rematch wasn't controversial at all. McG just did more damage. Also, I'm talking BOXING. McG didn't beat Nate with only boxing...he used hard leg kicks over and over which disabled Nate, who is relatively easy to hit. If McG didn't use leg kicks he would have probably lost again.

    • @ahiskastl1
      @ahiskastl1 Před 7 lety

      Oh ok so its ONLY controversial to us Diaz fans huh? And what about all the fans that are not Diaz fans who said Nate won? Dont wanna argue here but Conor running away numerous times was a disgrace to the UFC, he knew he was about to get and since he is the "son" of dana the judges of course gave it to McChicken. After the first 2 rounds Nate controlled the octagon and was active for the whole fight while Conor just ran around wasting time. But its ok we take the L, its cool Conors time will come as long as he is under the arms of dana nothing much will happen to him. Khabib and Nate gonna show him whats what no worries.

    • @ahiskastl1
      @ahiskastl1 Před 7 lety

      V Ling true but to use the word disabled Nate is a bit harsh. Because after the first 2 rounds conor didnt do much except for running wasting time. But its cool it is what it is. McGregor is the real deal. Forget all the haters, he is completely dominant. he controls range and strikes better than anyone in the UFC. People wanna hate on him because he is brash, but the truth is, he would dominate any fighter at 145lb and 155lb. This dude has knockout power and can control distance, that is something special. Did the ref call it early? Maybe. So I keep hearing from Alvarez fans. But McGregor completely dominated alvarez, he made one of the best fighters look ordinary. The kid is special. He legitimately is potential legendary material. I dont see anyone, even khabib , getting beyond the 2nd round with him.

      Khabib is the only guy that can beat Conor. Nobody can beat Khabib at 155 or even 170!!!

      Maybe - but I really don't think so...I think Ferguson could be tougher stylistically but I don't see him winning either...who knows, only one way to find out!

      How many times have the critics said "NOW Conor is in trouble, he's fighting a wrestler/BJJ expert." Mendes, Diaz, Alvarez. Alvarez has excellent wrestling and couldn't even come close to taking him down tonight.

      I would say that MJ is probably a little less precise than Conor for sure, but he hits with a lot of power. With that said, I think Khabib needs to improve his standup if he wants to beat Conor. I don't think Conor would 1 shot him, but I could see Conor staying on his feet and punishing him with a few precision strikes just like against Alvarez. He absolutely kills Conor on the ground but he'll get punished and rocked if he shoots as wildly as he's known too. The bear has gotta protect that chin in the standup.

    I don’t know why they would have these guys speak while Conor is talking , I seen it 1000 times and I still try to hear him talking in the background lol

      And he's a southpaw as well, when the 1st left landed Eddie was stunned and clearly looked frightened for the rest of the fight.
