    Thanks for letting us see you work in off season stuff. Down here in Florida we have very little off season and it is hotter then a whochee coochee. This reminds me I want to put remote lugs on to put a booster box on the battery for low battery cranking times and you have to have the seat down

    Thank you very helpful! I think what was the most helpful was filling up the oil filter with the fluid prior to installing it!!

    Great video, Mark. Stay warm. I know it's very cold up there right now. Heard below 0° with wind chill.

    So why not let gravity fill the filter up. The supply line comes directly from the reservoir to the filter.. I drain my reservoir by taking of the filter so I am certain the oil flows to it with no problem.. I would let it sit for a couple hours if your not in a hurry to be sure it fills..

    You can find those filters online a lot cheaper. I have a Hustler Fas trak and I've found a dealership will skin you.
    SCAG is a name brand product. All dealerships make their money off their part's. I've worked for dealership's before. You are paying 4 times mark up. I can buy those filters for 7 to 9 dollars.

    Good video and maintenance tips on your Scag Mark. Your seat cushion was probably fine when you were heavier and now that you lost a little weight your behind is little uncomfortable good luck adding four more inches...😂😂😂😊👊👍✅

    • @Marksmisfitworld
      @Marksmisfitworld  Před 5 lety

      True story about less padding in the behind now, but when I put new foam in the cushion it was not enough. Adding the extra foam is going to be a little interesting I am sure.

    Hi Mark, great video! I will be performing my zero turns oil change and hydraulic oil change with their filters in a couple of months. I have a tiger cub as well 48in deck. I was wondering if the oil filter and hydraulic oil filter are the same or are they both very different filters?

    • @Marksmisfitworld
      @Marksmisfitworld  Před 2 lety +2

      They are different filters. I always use hydraulic filters for the hydraulics, they don't have a relief spring if they get plugged and don't allow anything to bypass. No damage to pumps ever.

    • @Marksmisfitworld

      That is the drain tube for the oil. Check the wires on your clutch, also check the fuses.
