What would be great sequel is a race version of Thanksgiving. Human just drink water and has a sad PB&J, Elf drinks all the wine, Goliath watches the ball sport with half-orc as rivals and half-orc's team loses but half-orc comes back with a positive outlook (bc 1hp endurance HO's got). Centaur comes charging in only for the food and leaves in a dash. Halfling, Gnome, and Half-Elf get put at the kids table (HE is more of a joke). Tebaxi is the cat in the corner, dont stare at it. Loxidon and Tortle are the grandparents that doesnt get jokes. Then you got the meal. Kenku for the "turkey", Lucathah for fish, maybe Triton too but be much funnier to have fish eating fish and not minding. Aasimar is keeping everything together and Teifling is the one causing things to fall apart. Changeling is that person you dont know who's side of the family they are on or if they are a random guy that walked in.
I have a big list and I'm sure you can cover the rest. It would be funny to see the costume tho

Bad! That's the only cleric in the party! Thank Hephaestus I went high ac or damn would we all be dead! Btw she is running a death cleric who just collect corpses, bones and random bits of monsters. At which point do I call the church and ask for a replacement?
Sort of had a guy like that in one of my games, he was generally too busy stroking his beard to heal, and seemed to use channel divinity to do the healing instead, good thing I play a Divine Soul Sorcerer so I was picking up the slack, now we have a druid designated as the main healer, we'll se how that goes, I'll be there on standby with my healing spells and healer's kits.
Hmm, or a cleric who is more interested in doing damage than healing.....

A character in a dnd campaign died today from being a pervert

They were on a pirate ship with two half demon cousin's and one of the players jumped of the boat the half demon cousin which was a girl transformed into half demon and jumped in after the player because naturally the player had his hands bound and a gag in his mouth. The half demon saved the player and jumped on to the boat but when it transformed back the half demon girl was naked so the other half demon told everyone to close thier eyes and they did except for the player they saved and the half demon male got angry his eyes grew red and he seemed to have twice the strength from before he picked up the player by the head with one hand snapped his neck and threw him overboard.( That's how a dnd player died from being a pervert. BTW it was his first day playing the game)

@@OneShotQuesters Or druid was already making death saves and lost at least once when in turkey form at the beginning of cooking, at which point he took damage while incapacitated and lost 1 or 2 death saves.

Actually, there was a campaign I DMed a while ago for my school’s club, and the whole town was having a New Year’s party (on February 31st, as is tradition) and the Paladin did actually spike the punch and get the town mayor drunk X3
And yes, our paladin was a kolbold, my school seems to be obsessed with them...

@@sparrowthesparrow He is. He basically sees my Warlock as his Mom now, and my Warlock, who usually is manipulative and sarcastic, will OBLITERATE anyone who hurts her new lizard baby. Kevin is precious and shall be protected! Also shockingly Kevin was also a major help to the team even though he was originally a joke character, so Kevin is amazing on his own to! His parents trained him well. :D

I feel like the cleric could've saved themselves the trouble of dealing with their drunk asses by casting protection from poison. If they can't be intoxicated, than they might not bother drinking. Either that or get the cleric drunk so he can't cast the spell. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!

monks get poison immunity at lvl 10, so cleric being the designated driver is probably just a practical joke he hasn't figured out yet
I played a carnivore druid once because she cared more about the plants than the animals. Not the brightest but super fun to play. At one point, another player explained that the animals eat plants and by eating animals I was actually killing more plants in the process and my Druid almost had a mid-life crisis.
Fun Fact: Believe it not I was the most sane member of this party.

@@OneShotQuesters as a beginner what should I buy first for D&D?
@@lukefarrell1453 I pretty much learned how to play from scratch and I DM for friends now. I played one session with someone who had some experience playing before, but other than that I learned everything from listening to actual play podcasts, listening to the audiobook of the players and reading through the pdf, both of which can be downloaded for free from wizards of the coast, and then I just cut out and Drew my own Battle maps from cardstock scraps that I had. I have way more access to cardstock than most people, so that's a little bit of an advantage, but I have zero artistic talent. I just kind of used a straight edge to mark off the one inch squares, and then taped and glued cardstock together into the shapes that I wanted, and picked up a cheap set of minis from amazon, and a couple hundred Dice from wish. Everyone was able to play off of just the bundle that I bought. This let me introduce other people D&D and now I have other friends who have their own dice and minis and stuff. The biggest thing for me was definitely listening to a lot of actual play podcasts. It took me a little while to find ones that I liked, since I think critical role should be watched on CZcams more than listened to as a podcast. I personally really enjoyed high rollers, and I think their podcast is more set up so that you don't have to see what they're doing on CZcams to fully understand, and I also really liked the dice girls, since that was a group that was clearly new to the game still taking the risk to put the content out there, and it really helped me get over the fear of not really knowing what I was doing. I would say, that the only thing you really need is Dice and even that can be duplicated with an app or an online generator, but rolling dice is fun for most people, so I do recommend getting that, but otherwise you can do theater of the mind and the players handbook is free, and anything you need from the DMG can be googled most of the time. When I DM I normally have two laptops and a phone opened at the same time, although when I initially ran a game one laptop, a bunch of notes and one phone was all that I had.
