This stream reminds me of the time my middle school banned the word ‘roasted’ to discourage bullying but all that ended up happening was far more creative ways of saying the word. My personal favorites were ‘Sautéed’ and ‘Toasted’, but I also heard ‘Fried’ and ‘Grilled’ on the bus at some point.

We should hold a charity stream for Moderators without Orders to help them be free of the stress of all his commands.
It's like that one experiment they did where they took a bunch of random people and made some prisoners, and some wardens to see what would happen. The wardens could basically do whatever they wanted, and it quickly devolved into power abuse and violence by the wardens. The mods are the wardens, and they're loving it.

The word ban part of the stream is EXACTLY why and my entire motivation to learn english. Fancy olden english or some sophisticated wording being used for the stupidest stuff imaginable just hits me funny bone so hard that I'm motivated to learn more of it.
I like how at first "Doug" thought that chat was going to be talking like cavemen, but he ended up making them speak in Shakespearean sonnets instead.

What I love most about Doug's streams and videos is how the content goes in directions I never would have anticipated, and it's always hilarious.

I WAS THERE. During the stream, I was running a comprehensive banned word list on his discord, in the dog hole. It was chaos trying to keep up as some words kept getting banned and then unbanned or would be banned multiple times under different rulings so there would be redundancies. Also, some people would comment on it and then 5 lurkers would come out of no where and tell them to delete their comments to keep the list neat.
The individual seated in the chair lacks hair, unlike the primary character, and struggles in 2-D platform video games.
I love how it went from absurd Neanderthal-speak, to mangled Shakesperean prose, to near-incomprehensible chantings of BALD! BALD! BALD!
