"it's going to be super...... *Bang* Wooheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..... Bad" loved it. It's not just because it's fun watching things getting hydraulically smooshed, it's also your amazing personalities, and you seem genuinely lovely people.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why we love Finns.
Yee yee yee!
1:25 for reference
They need to send the Slow Mo Guys to Finland to capture some of these high energy moments on ultra high speed.
Hell yes
For sure!
oh pls yes
YES!!!
I just Wana Gavin go mental as always haha
love it how the steel socket is a perfect illustration of the fact that heat and pressure go hand in hand...
I think a collaboration between your channel and the Slow Mo Guys would create an absolute brilliant video (or multiple videos) because Dan and Gav can use their top tier equipment to make the most visually stunning videos. I'd love to see a series of differing ways to crush a whole range of things in the interesting manor you guys come up with.
I can't think of a better matchup than 2 of my favorite channels putting their creative genius together.
Let's get this to happen, the more people who request it then the more likely it is to happen, get commenting and liking this to get it seen by them.
Yes, would love to see this
They use a chronos ring on their other channel, "Beyond the Press"
YES!!!
@@jeffbrandon7201 The problem there is that set-up is not exactly portable, same with the hydrolic press, they need the experience and expertise that the Slow Mo Guys would bring to the table combined with the equipment and knowledge of this channel. It's all well and good hiring a quality high speed camera and pointing it at the press, but it requires the wealth of knowledge in the area of capturing decent quality footage and dealing with the myriad of settings associated with such a specific kind of filming technique.
The nitrogen really helps the press, making stuff brittle results in more impressive explosions
Yeah!
"pretty cool"
@@mursuhillo242 dude chill
The manufacturer of that press should be working with you for advertising. The amount of shock it takes and nothing ever breaks is impressive.
A couple of books did break it a while ago
They did break the fitting on one of the bed lift lines a while back. I'm pretty surprised that there hasn't been more damage, though, as these sorts of shocks aren't great for stuff.
It is very nice to hear Anni's voice in the background laughing, I miss seeing her on the video's. Great video I was pretty surprised by some of those objects.
I haven’t been keeping up on the news; why isn’t she on the channel anymore?
I love that you can see how the things heat up from the pressure.
OOOOHH a thermal camera would be fun. filming with one not crushing it XD
That would be cool knowing where the temp goes high first
This would be cool, but metals are reflective even for IR, it won't work properly
@@YoshiAsk Sorry, but are IR missiles not used on planes and tanks? I believe those are made out of metal.
Even if the emissivity is different from other materials, you can still use an IR camera on them. And because they're cooled in liquid nitrogen beforehand, which has a known temperature, it would be super easy to calibrate.
2:22 imagine just hearing that sound and having to guess what it was. It's actually very creepy.
Demonic Donald duck
Someone must think it's a warzone xD
I miss Anni"s laughs and reactions. Thanks for the video.
"It's going to be super...💥...bad."
Which for HPC and BTP is always Prrritti Guud. 👍
Yup, I needed one more reminder that when my nuts are really, really cold, don't smash them in a hydraulic press.
Be the last nut you ever bust...
I like to keep a good distance between my nuts and hydraulic presses as a basic policy, frozen or not.
I know, if you thought you ALREADY had problems with shrinkage...
@FBI WE HAVE FOUND DB COOPER
everything cracks better with Liquid Nitrogen... love it! ...and love you guys! Made my day ... again!
2:32 That steel socket just amazed me. Just look how it warmed up cause of the friction.
That was super cool. Didn't notice until I saw this comment
Amazing clips
Me too, since the „paper folding more than 7 times“ video. Must be around 5 or 6 years by now?
The best part about slow motion is that you get to see what happens if you flinch or blink.👍👍
How surprising...someone discover fire here:):)
Outstanding! Thank you
HPC + The Slow Mo Guys
Make it happen!
Best video in years!!! 😅
A collab between Slow Mo Guys and your channel would be absolutely amazing mate!
1:27 It’s about to be super 💥…..
Men that was funny 😆😂
Very good video! 👍 More please.
CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE MAKE A TALLER PLAYING CARD TOWER WITH THE QUAD BLADE
I don't have any more the quadblade tool since it got destroyed in accident but I can make something similar!
@@HydraulicPressChannel i love the sounds of that
I love hearing Anni laughing in the background. You guys are having even more fun than we are, lol
Love, You got my sub.
You're freaking amazing
Love your channel. Have you ever done experiment the other way - e.g. put a verticsl pipe in the press and fill it with water then freeze it and see what force it produces? Perhaps the same with dried wood which you add water to - how stones were split in ancient times.
1:01 the sound of the spaceship hull cracking on the way to mars
I always love your stuff.. but that special nervous laugh.. makes me smile
The Pepsi can was the most visually spectacular clip in the sequence for having the liquid nitrogen spraying out the whole time. As much fun as all the exploding items were. :)
But what about a full of pepsi dunked in nitrogen frozen solid and then crushed?
This is 20 tons better than David Letterman's 50 ton press gags... and Letterman had a bigger budget.
These were some pretty Cool clips...
Okay, I'll subscribe. That thumbnail was all about the clickbait, but no bait because it was the very first thing you showed. That's classy.
Thanks for sharing
I wasn't surprised by the spring. Terrified, yes. 🤣
You are totally bonkers !!!
But in a good way.
Keep it up please.
👍😎
Loved the explosive ones, like the ball bring video.
Outstanding
That was pretty cool 🥶
1:02- it's amazing how much those bits light up!
Hey can you try simulating nuclear explosion with many kilos of flash powder in spherical container, with mini town and slowmo, it could be awesome if you know what you're doing
It would be like a movie if done right, I will talk to sons of Xplosion too
I'm voting for this
great video .
The hammer is one of my favorite. Impressive explosion! Shook up the place! Wow!!!
Something occurred to me as you were crushing the soda can: how well ventilated is your shop? Liquid nitrogen rapidly turns into nitrogen gas, which can displace oxygen and pose a suffocation hazard.
From what I've seen, their shop is large enough that less than 12 fluid oz of nitrogen gas should disperse harmlessly with any normal ventilation.
Those distant sounds with the hammer slowmo, you can imagine yourself as microscopic part of metal and you hear everything around you starting to shatter :D
It's amazing to watch the socket when being smashed under such pressure it heats up the metal in a way it melts the frost from the spot that taken the pressure the most.
Such a chilling experience.
When so much energy gets released in microseconds(Hammer exploding for example) does this not damage your hydraulic press?
ive always been curious when you have something that explodes like that or gets shot off to the side and the ram on the press just drops down very fast like that dose it ever damage the press ?
super nice
Put liquid nitrogen into sealed pipes with a pressure gauge and film it from a distance!
I'd love to see some of these stopped just slightly before the thing exploded. Like what's cracking off the edges of the giant nut? Is there a hard and soft area that flakes at different pressures?
"That was pretty cool!" I see what you did there 😂
So cool
The sponge was very satisfying
A thermal imaging camera would‘ve made the video a 10/10
This is a certified liquid nitrogen hydraulic press moment
I'm never first,
I'm never last,
But I'm always watching,
And having a Blast. 💥
(And often a Laugh. 😂)
Nice 👍😁
i see explosions i click like.
Who knew how much fun a hydraulic press could be?
Destroying things is crazy fun, I think fucking around with a crushing device that can crush things with like 300,000lbs of force being fun is a safe guess.
Compilation concept: Anni's best laughs. She must be in contention for the best laugh on YT.
Half wondered if I needed the proper PPE for this.
Those first few were huge haha
Good to know if I ever need to break into a lock, I just need to bring liquid nitrogen and a hydraulic press 👌
Crushing this is just so much more fun when they're at liquid nitrogen temp
The hummer crashing was so metal!
those long finnish winters....🤣🤣🤣
0:13 Good laugh Laurie 🙂
Are you going to rebuild the Smashinator?
I loved the "vhut da fuq?!" on the sponge one.
If there was an official channel for the hp it’d be these guys
“Oh that’s fin-“ *BANG* “oh I wasn’t expecting that”
I think it would often be really interesting to look at things once they crumbled before squishing them into a brick.
"Memory foam" became "Forget my shape foam"
Are you taking the whole year off now? I know you had mentioned a summer break, but...
We are publishing new videos every saturday. I just pop these out to lure in new viewers during the workdays.
The bleeding hammer is my favorites 😂
Hello from the Pacific Northwest
A secondary thermal camera would be awesome on some of there
Don't squeeze the Charmin! 🤣
Can you start putting the videos that these clips are from in the description?
I'm writing a comment before this video reaches 1 million views. It's now at 11 thousand.
Dang , I know it was chilly over there in Finland, but I didn't know it was that cold bud, frozen the pick solid?
Gotta do the frag grenade with frozen hammer!!!
I wonder if there's a major difference between a frozen raw egg and a frozen cooked egg?
Pls do more frozen ones!
1:40-
Anni, it's to hear you 😆
"Regular hard toilet paper" only here can you say that and have it make sense lol
"Memory foam will remember that"
Cool
you need to do this with the slow motion guys
I loved how the duct tape just kept exploding
Hockey pucks are kept frozen until game time. Not that frozen. I wonder what a good slap shot would do to it. 2:55
I wonder if you put open cola can into nytrogen is it gonna freeze and how it will be crushed. But it's gonna be sticky everywhere so I guess bad idea
I like when either the set dies for a bit under the intense seismic discharge of pressure, or farts because the press is muffling all the friction generated by the crush.
"I was too afraid to think."
Yes veri guud
rubber band ball looked like stop motion lol
7:16
How to Basic will love this
4:28 I was expecting a giant nut explosion...
😁
“What’s next? What’s next? 🤔 🤔” 🍍 😂😂
the giant hammer in slow-motion has a haunting sound
