  • In this video i am going to answer one of The GrandMA3 questions i get all the time.
    How to use color bumps and how to make sure that the bump release again, after you have used it.
    In this GrandMA3 tutorial you will se how easy it is to make a simple effect, without using the phaser engine.
    Sometimes the simple approach is the best, when you want to make some simple color bumps, in your GrandMA3 showfile, and this technique can be used on all your GrandMA3 parameters, not just the color, but also any other thing you want to bump in and out of your main sequence.

    Very good video.
    I prefer the relative color value. This way the running sequence is not turned off and I can use multiple temp buttons for the different directions the bump runs from.

      Thats the cool thing about MA, you can do it just the way you like it 😀 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍👍

    Creating a sequence like this but using Recipes within the cue is more powerful. You can then make changes to multiple cues with a quick change to a MA Tricks pool.
    Very well explained tutorial keep them coming 👍🏼

    Thank you for all your CZcams Videos. Highly appreciated. Could you also make a tutorial how to ignite (discharge lamps) fixtures like Martin Macs remotely via MA3?
    Cheers

    • @jakebylsma7641
      @jakebylsma7641 Před rokem

      Which Martin Macs? For example with a Martin Mac 700 profile here's how you do it:
      Select the fixture > Beam Attribube > Shutter > Set to "91" or "Lamp On".
      Clear progrmamer, wait a moment for it to strike.
      Some lights have Lamp On located in the control channel, some in shutter, some even in dimmer curve. Consult the manual for each fixture accordingly if required.

      Can the new "offcue" feature be used for this? With a temp button.

    • @everettstone6574
      @everettstone6574 Před 5 měsíci +1

      There's actually a more simple way to do this using a temp button. Using a temp button will also let you use the fade times set for the cue. as well, you can make a stack of colors, and change the reset for playback to "current cue". for example, I have a stack of colors, I use the "go to" command to pick a color cue, and then I can use that for my bump color.

  • @DTRE_Torak
    @DTRE_Torak Před rokem +1

    Is there a way to do that with a temp button ? This would help me having the release whenever I want it without having to update the trig time everytime I want it to change.

    • @piminat0r
      @piminat0r Před rokem +1

      I used it as a temp button, turned off tracking, gave it low priority and it kinda worked.
      Still new to ma, so no idea if it's an efficient way of doing it but it worked for me.

    • @DTRE_Torak
      @DTRE_Torak Před rokem +1

      @@piminat0r Idk what tracking has to do with it ? What you have still depends of the trig time of the second cue. What I want is to disable it / not have it and having the release of my temp being the release of the fx. So far, if you disable the second cue, it just snaps release (as it's supposed to be, unless you have fade/delay in the offcue).
