I’m a big 54 and I am with a glee in my step, moving on from a very long relationship with someone I outgrew.I outgrew my Suga daddy😂 He saved me at a time when I needed it but now I’m grown and need space for myself. I’m selling a home that I haves loved and know that it’s the right decision. I’m in a new season and you may have another season. Life is ever changing and we keep growing and moving forward! I could relate with you on so many levels. I was raised by my grandmother, parents were very young when they had me. In and out of toxic relationships. I'm 54 and it's been a journey. I can finally say I'm in love with me and it feels so good. I'm not in a relationship and I'm not looking.

How has love changed for you at a big age?
My perspective of love has become more gracious and grounded as I've aged. Gracious in that I know people are human and because of that I anticipate in their efforts to love me they may not always hit the mark. But grounded in that I know what I need and don't accept different because of what other people say I should be happy with... I know me. I know what I need and I know how I like to love. I love out loud and I want to be loved in the same way.
Radically! Truly honoring myself is at the centre of how I am relearning to love. I truly resonate so much. I envision myself at another mid boggling level when I get to a biggggger age 🥹
I’ve learned to first heal. Not carry trauma over into the next and punish someone who isn’t responsible for making me bleed. Stopped trying to fill an inner void with temporary outer satisfaction. Accepting that everything and everyone has a purpose and to some there is a reason, a season and very few are meant for a lifetime. Being okay with all of that and dialing back to understanding me and what makes me happy and brings me joy. Valuing people and not things; realizing that I have more days behind me than before me so living with more intent, giving more grace, showing AGAPE Love and walking away in a heartbeat from anything that disturbs or doesn’t align with peace.
