It certainly is and I'm not the only one that seems to think so. The music isn't overly complex but it doesn't need to be. The vocals are superb and the lyrics are fucking mean. Even the song title is awesome. A perfect second track.

Their goal would have been to spread communism to the entire world and they would have reduced all the nations of the world to post-apocalyptic subatomic dust to do the job. And 27,000 atomic warheads in the hands of a psychopath like Joseph Stalin would have been a frightful idea for sure! Good thing that maniac died with a stroke in a puddle of piss. None of us would be in this comment section if he would have lived. And for that we should all be thankful!

Matt Clark my first time seeing them was at a club in Cincinnati. It was on the X Factor tour with Blaze on vocals (also saw Bruce solo w/Adrian on guitar at the same club). Also saw them in 2003 and 2005. Didn’t think I’d ever get to take my son to see them. He’s really excited. Just took him to see Metallica last week. Great show, but no one puts on a show like Maiden.

I have a song for you that NOBODY will turn you on to, but you MUST trust me on this one... look up "Last chance" by Shooting Star. They were like a cross between Journey and Kansas and came out of the mid-west states in the 80's. EPIC drums! INSANE lyrics. An outro that builds into the most momentous, building end of a song you will ever hear.
Shooting Star was one of the most underrated bands of their time. They have dozens of awesome tracks, but "Last Chance" is their masterpiece. PLEASE don't let this track pass you by, I think it would make your best reaction ever!!!

I went to an Iron Maiden concert in 1990 (Philadelphia) I was 19 ...on the floor by myself ...looking up at these giant backdrop tapestries that would unfurl every few songs. I was star-struck seeing Bruce and the gang in person ...and not just on the posters that wallpapered my room. I also had a VHS tape AND cassette tape of their ‘85 Live After Death concert that I wore out. I’m sure Live After Death is online for you to check-out and get that Iron Maiden in-their-prime experience. Keep up the entertaining videos, Preston! ...and thanks 👍🏼

Did you know that the title of this song is about the apocalypse watch, wich was over two minutes to midnight during cold. war in the 80s, so they wrote that song... After Reagan Gorbachev ban some nuclear weapons, that time was over 5 minutes, but Just a few days ago, the apocalypse watch was over Two minutes to midnight again.

I saw Iron Maiden in 2017 and I totally lost my mind, one of the best shows I've ever been to.
Another good jam of theirs IMO is Paschendale. A lot of their songs have have some historical meanings. Paschendale is about WW1.

I am by no means a NFL fan, but I wanted to see if the trend continued that every season Alabama loses the College Football national title game, the Pats win the super bowl, and vice/verse. So I'm waiting to to see if the trend keeps going and Bama makes it and Pats don't lol. And I respect Brady, but I can't stand him because his final CFB game at Michigan was a win over Bama in the 2000 Orange Bowl (DAMN YOU BRADY!) Lol. But yes that was a horrible, horrible super bowl, I don't think the Rams got into the Patriots territory hardly at all (I didn't watch every minuite, it was that bad.)

Fun fact about Maiden is that they never had a song played on the radio. They became famous playing so many places all over the world; basically word of mouth. It was not until the advent of satellite radio that they gained knew younger fans. The lead singer, Bruce Dickinson, besides having an AMAZING voice with a ridiculously crazy vocal range, is also a pilot and has a brewery (or winery) cannot remember which.

@@FantabulasFacts I saw them live last year and you're right. Stu is a great front man, but he uses lots of effects to achieve his sound. I have watched lots of vids here of Barlow live and he sounds tons better. And that says a lot comparing a youtube vid to hearing it in person...

Grew up in the 80s. This is the song that made maiden into mega metal stars. As good and popular number of the beast and run to the hills was, it was this that transcended the group into another level at the time.
