I just put a hyd. Jack between the spring and the frame to get the weight off the pins then grease them

Put a small spot sikaflex on that light bezel , that will keep it from spinning.

I sold Peterbilts for a number of years..in 1985 it was said . There will come a day when trucks do not have Chrome. We all laughed ! Still nothing like a 359 .

For my end dump trailer,I got like a piece of 1/4" thick by 1&1/2 & drill for your bolts, sand them to ruffen them up a little so the primer will grab onto,then likely sand primer a couple times or until your liking then sand again then color paint them.

Hey Martin, just came the same way over 80 in my motorhome, 15 mpg down that long grade.
If the headlights were upgraded it would really make Tiny look better. Maybe some super sweet LEDs

You re right Martin. All about fuel economy these days with the horrible rates. This last couple of weeks came in at 42 cents per mile fuel cost running the Midwest The AeroDynamic truck just makes more sense right now on regular van or reefer freight .. if you have something specialized and rates to compensate that then running a classic hood truck is a personal choice and a lot.of respect to those who can do that.

Your there to make $$, that truck will make your more $$. So many only want to run a big hood. Even if its costing them 30K or more a year. Just like working over time, without getting paid.
Back in 1988, was running a FLD 120 with 60 series Detroit. All the cats in the fleet were getting 3 to 3.5 MPG. I was running right there with them. But Ifta MPG for the year was 6.4.
Huge difference, when I started running my fld I got over 2mpg better over my cat powered kw, lots of money saved.
I would have moved out of California also, I donât lean to the left, at all! Thanks again have a safe trip home.

Silicone inside those plastic lite bezels will help them from moving
Use a urethane bedding compound. Silicone tends to fail, after 2 years. Then it's clean with MEK, and reapply.

Iâm wondering 579 with 565 with a automatic 18 speed would do running out west pulling a refrigerated trailer. Looking good Martin.
Probably less than this set up. The efficiency speced the same as a 565 performance will always do a bit better. But shouldnât be to far off.
Why don,t you put some quater fenders in front of your trailer wheels .

You know in my eyes the 900 could not hold a candle next to Tiny and the fancy reefer trl. Itâs like there made for each other. Over the next while we know Martin will make little changes to how the trailer looks at the moment. You must be so proud driving that down the boulevard , I know I would. Itâs going to be nice to get home to Alice. Missing your partner makes you appreciate them more. Itâs so easy to take them for granted. Mac and cheese in small sizes like you had Martin are fine. You can eat most things and it wonât do any harm the word is and I know you know this, is moderation. Looked like the perfect meal. Myself I stay away from sodas. For me there are better choices. But it looks like it works for you and thatâs all what matters. I am not a basher because I have an opinion. Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one but some like to wear them on there shoulders. One loyal fan here .. Anywho Trucking Together great presentation. Several reasons. I donât have to worry about weight with a spread, better braking traction in winter, better ride, looks waaaaaaaaay cooler. Etc only downside is tire wear but that can be avoided too.
Have you used US 20 across to Omaha yet rather than I -80?
