Jack may be one of the only booktubers who NEVER disappoints. He always has new and diverse content, diversifies his videos, does real research on what he reads and comes up with new ideas for videos super frequently. I sometimes find myself a bit annoyed at other booktubers for repeating stuff about the same popular books over and over again, but with Jack you can feel how really and genuinely passionate he is about reading and finding new ways to communicate his passions to us. Great job, Jack!

I have never thought about putting the translator's name on the cover, but now that i think about it it's so important!! In Spain a lot of the books we read are translated from english and the translator's name is always inside the book with all the copyright section, which now seems really unfair to me. It's just so common to read translated books here that we don't aknowledge the work of the people who made possible for us to read it. I hope they start changing that but so far i've never seen the translator's name on the cover :(

This is so odd for me because I live 20 minutes away from it and though it is known for books I've never really considered it a book town just a regular town, so it's quite interesting to me

Did you know that Hay on Wye was made famous in a novel written many years ago? The novel was called Lady of Hay by Barbara Erskine and it was a time travel books, similar to the Outlander. Historical fiction just to be clear!! I just thought you might want to know that that was the first time I ever heard or read about Hay on Wye and the book town it became. Lady of Hay was first published back in 1986. I absolutely adored the original cover. The E-book cover it has now is rather blah and meh. But I purchased it, because of my memories of the first time I read this book over 30 years ago!!

Ah, the old Snorri Sturluson! I hadn’t thought of him for a very long time! I loved A.S. Byatt’s Possession and I think I’ll pick up Ragnarok. Thanks, Jack!🌷
