VIDEO SUGGESTIONS: 1. Reading Emma Chamberlain books recs 2. Reading banned books 3. Reading the books that Oscar movies are based on ( power of the dog) stuff like that
Hello Jack! Currently reading many of your recommendations one after another. I have a video idea for you: do a video by Ukrainian authors and send the proceeds to Ukraine. Thank you for your fundraising events as well!
I love this idea. It might be difficult to find [good] Ukrainian literature in English, especially contemporary. But it's worth to look for it. I'm Ukrainian by the way, and would be happy to help with the book search or anything related:)
i dont think it's possible for him to do a video and donate the money to charities, for every country that's currently in a war. it's also not fair at all to do it for just Ukraine, when there have been wars in POC countries for decades.

Twelfth night is absolutely hilarious, as someone who loves the idea of Shakespeare but can often never rlly get into it this was an easy and hilarious read
can someone please make a compilation video of every pun Jack has ever made?? i know it will be like super long but pleaseee. i'd literally pay to see that
Parable of the sower is one of my absolute favourite reads ever! I had to run to the bookshop while reading my library copy just to have it in my 4-ever private library ❤️
Literally just had a tutorial today where we discussed how there are so many retellings of Greek myths which are written from the female perspective coming to the market lately.
i love the cover and so much intrigued by the theme of 'None of This is Serious' and i am definitely gonna order it when it releases. Good luck Catherine
excited to see you reading octavia butler, she's one of my favorite author. her characters and worlds are always very complex, looking forward to see your review of parable of the sower
parable of the sower is one of my favorite books ever- Butler is such an icon!! I would love to know your thoughts- I had to read it for a lit and utopia class in uni and I have read it a couple times since! If you loved the YA/dystopian movement of 2012, this is very much the "grown up" version of that! Sooo good- I've also had kindred on my shelf for a while and am hoping to get to that soon as well! love your channel!
I am currently reading “We Were Liars”, and I had no idea there was a prequel! I’m liking “We Were Liars” so far, so hopefully by the end I love it, and I will want to pick up the prequel!
I read some of E. Lockheart's other books as a teen and I really enjoyed them... I was expecting We Were Liars to be a light read, but uh, I will never be ready to get wrecked like that. Cudos to you for having the mental fortitude to read the prequel, because I cried so much that I know I couldn't handle any of that
I nearly jumped off my sofa at the mention of Elektra. The story is phenomenal. And horrifying. And wonderful. And I have to wait about 6 weeks for the book to come out!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Parable of the Sower! I read it with my friend to help her with her English class and was amazed. It's one of my favorite dystopian novels. I have Parable of the Talents, but haven't read it yet. Maybe I'll feel inspired after you review it 😂
Jack, thanks for your Project Hail Mary review on your main channel. I read it bc both Hank Green and you recommended it and finished it recently. Holy. What an amazing book! So I’m obviously now reading The Martian and Artemis and I really appreciate the recommendation!
I often play these without watching the entire time while getting ready & when u skipped saying the title of hunters rec I just knew it was gonna be something like that. Suddenly i love you so bad !!
I'm reading the Parable of the Sower with some friends for a bookclub, and I'm like 20 pages away from finishing it. It's so good! And considering it was written in the 1990s, and set near present day now is mind boggling and feels waaaay too close to home for comfort. I can't wait to see what you and your friend think of it!
When you said Parable of the Sower is going to be fun at first, I was really concerned for you lolol. It’s such an incredible book but very intense. I’m excited to hear your thoughts!!
im sorry but i laughed so hard when you dropped the box 😭😭 only bc i related on a spiritual level tho ahahaha so glad you like we were liars i love that book so much and i can not to read family of liars
Hi Jack: Fantastic variety here! Loving that you really are branching out this year - including that massive paves novel!! Still need a bit more non-fiction but stupendous selection! One of my favourite Shakespearean tales! Looking forward to more feminine Greek heroes too!!! Hope you enjoy them all! 🌹 and the gang
On a serious note, please read the book Feed if you haven’t yet! Its quite an intriguing topic as when I read it many years ago… seemed like sci-fi. But now with Musks neuralink it could be reality!
If you loved No One Is Talking About This then I know you’ll love The Unreality of Memory by Elisa Gabbert. I just bought it for my best friend for her birthday and it’s such a brilliant essay collection about fake news, the human experience and how we cope with disaster
