This is a terrifically useful video, thank you. I have never really had a full grasp (26k battle veteran) of the details of the spotting mechanics. But this video clears a lot of those mysteries up for me.

I couldn't find this video with CZcams search when I typed "Wotb tutorial", "Wotb mechanics", or "Wotb concealment/spotting" (searching "Wotb view range", works tho). I suggest putting these as tags, the only one who does not match AT ALL, is the "Wotb tutorial", this series could be considered as a tutorial, but it would be more a "mechanics tutorial", it still works tho, specially if you want more information about the game.
Everything else is pretty fine, I like how you never start going too far with the information you give, you keep the tutorial focused with what the players need to know, you don't derive too much from the subject. Very well done.

@@majorhawkins Some of my older posts may have intel you could utilize in the series, feel free to use anything you find usefull...This one, is spot on though...The silhouette of the red tanks, pointer...if its a silhouette, it means you see them but they don't see you even when you shoot. Shooting through TWO bushes will also assist your concealment further from them ...

After winning a tier 10 M60 in one of the draws , ( I do one turn at most draws as i dont have gold to waste ) this is awesome . I used to think I wasn't coordinated enough to do mediums but I've been going through some lower tiers in mediums so I'll eventually be able to do decent in the M60 . Long story short : I love mediums !!!. Thanks for the help . Most of all thank you for helping us without the arrogance so common on CZcams videos. You and Snugs are my go to advisors. (Edit) : You give the most detailed explanation of game mechanics of anyone else . I learned things from this video I have never heard anyone else speak of. As far as suggestions, how about a detailed walkthrough of proper procedures for side scraping? I believe it is widely misunderstood.

4:55 why not trust the in game values? Isn’t camo rating also a function of crew training, which I believe is accounted for in the stats listed in game. So I think it might be the more reliable source.

Yes, the crew training can add up to 21% in your concealment rating, and you are absolutely correct that the bonus from crew skills are included in the concealment rating shown in game. 21% is not a flat increase, which is best seen in the "upon firing" rating.. :)
