It depends if the bush can cover all of the view ports of the tank so it won't be direct to the spotting points of the enemy, and you will need to be 15 meters away from the bush, as you did say. You will know if you're 15 meters away if the bush you're aiming at in sniper mode is opaque or isn't transparent.
I think that different bushes have different camo ratings as well. For example, desert bushes don't conceal you as well as the bushes on a map like canal, and this means that you have a greater chance of being spotted in the desert bush than the summer bush. I've tested this and it seems to be the case.

When you cant see throught the Bush anymore its more than 15 Meters away so you can shoot without getting spoted
Pantouflee perhaps u also want to clarify the specific areas on the tank where spotting markers are located, because sometimes u don't spot the tank even though its rear is sticking right in front of you round a corner. Nevertheless, a great informative video!

Basically, every bush gives you 60 camo points, that you have to add to your tank camo points (example: While stationary you tank has 37 points, if you are behind a bush your camo points increase up to 97) but take in consideration that the max camo points are 100 Thanks for reading.
TIP most ppl dont know: If you spot someone with a bush and back up untill the bush is not transparent anymore if you fire at a tank you wont get spotted by that tank no matter what view range it has because after you fire a bush stops giving camo to you from a certain distance i dont remember the range for a few seconds if your next to it ofc but if you back up untill it looks like a normal bush in sniper mode it wont give away your position it is harder to shoot this way tho since you dont see the hit skin of the tank or what its doing or are there any objects you might hit in the way and also very important in this state you also cant spot anyone because the bush is blocking your view range as well thats why poke first spot behind it and back up a bit
Yes. You can see this in faust at the medium side. If you're on top and there's an enemy I'm the missle area below you will be spotted because it's less than 50 m

Could you tell meadsy or droodles or someone about discussing this with wg? Cause honestly 99% of the time you can’t use that double bush mechanic because you don’t have enough gun depression etc... we need more bushes, or bigger or fix the spots ok the bushes so you can get the shots off when going as far back, or make the distance of it becoming not transparent a bit shorter. I’m a 70% player 2k avg dmg and 12k battles and I cannot use the double bush mechanic in like 90% of the bushes ... :/ also it would make it much easier to carry 1v4,5,6 since you can remain unspotted more easily

I tried it and I got really frustrated when I was suddenly spotted where It coulndnt have been, since my camo vaues were pretty good. idk but softcover works better on wot pc imo
