This whole album is epic Still bang it to this day Funny too Mike is a legend in my book Lyrical genius And also a great singer The boys are crazy good at what they do put in 💯percent effort too Very talented entertaining band Highly underrated Love "Sarsippius ark" "The plague that makes your booty move " Is another I thoroughly enjoy Mad respect 😎✌️♥️
RageAgainstRustyCage you know rhcp are much more famous than infectious groove right? And they were just funk rock, not this kinda style like funk metal
@@bugsymalone5744 you mean the george clinton era or only Mother's Milk? You still dont know what you're talking about, you just dont like rhcp. And i dont like plenty of popular bands like metallica; ill never say something like 'they are overrated' that's what insecure fools do
So miss these guys. I love ST but this was a whole diff animal. Mike Muir> Please come to Michigan with IG!!!!!! F them big cities and venues......Northern MI is where its at for festivals and we LOVE da funk. See you and SC at the Intersection soon.
It doesn't matter what the musical tastes are of people at a party, if it's a drunken blowout drop this song late in the night. People go nuts. (I'm holding myself innocent if your house gets trashed.)
This band is absolutely astounding.. Rich melodic speech, harmonies breathtaking orchestration constantly renewed in the use of the stamps of the orchestra, in short a Babylonian sound architecture erected by humble and impetuous composers !
ew. This had class. Nu-Metal was simply a creation of the record industry to come up with the next new thing. Korn. Biscuit. Kid Rock. 3 Doors Down. Static-X. Fear Factory. Marilyn Manson. None of these bands hold a candle to Infectious OR Suicidal.
@abbeyvid That's a very good point. In many local venuesyou don't get payed barley anything to play a show. You could make money off of an album but if someone in your band and/or a close friend doesn't have good recording eqipment/programs that won't be cheap. So given that you may have spent a lot making your album you may have to sell a lot of them just to break even. And if you're a pretty unkown local band it will be hard to sell a ton of albums.
Except that Infectious Grooves were Funk Metal, not Nu Metal. They were formed when Rob introduced Mike to funk and they both shared a love for it. Infectious Grooves had more in common with Primus, and Faith No More than Korn or Limp Bizkit. Nu Metal focused more on mixing elements of Hip hop, not funk, and featured more down tuning, with a lack of lead playing, or solos.
Long time since I've seen old Sarsippius lol. I still listen to the album on MP3, but I miss the videos. Proper skater music from Mike, Rob and co, always. In Infectious Grooves and Suicidal Tendencies you can hear how much input Trujillo has into the overall sound. He's a masterful live artist, and I get the money and exposure is good with Metallica, but what a waste of creativity in the bass world. Instead of making songs like Send me your Money and These Freaks, he's playing someone else's back catalogue. Lights, Camera, Revolution and Sarsippius' Ark were two of my nineties go to tapes that I still listen to today. The skate scene and the music that came out of it will always be my jam.
Robert Trujillo has always been an incredible bassist.
fills in every pocket...totally kik flipin ass
This stuff smashes a bad mood just like back in the day.
The money might be in Metallica, but the Music is in Suicidal Tendencies/Infectious Grooves.
This is the most 1992 thing I have ever seen.
This is the truest comment I have ever seen.
Propably the best example anywhere of what MTV used to be
Yup. The year I turned 18, I confirm the accuracy of the above comment.
Violent and funkay
I'm almost embarrassed to say that I just happened upon this band. Where the hell have I been? Thiese guys are so very awesome!
Welcome. The bigger question is how does Robert T put up with Lars? $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Check Suicidal Tendencies their other band
Theys Weus a big paert of the 90 fur us.
Socipius ark is one of their best albums
Mike Muir for the win man. All day.
This whole album is epic
Still bang it to this day
Funny too
Mike is a legend in my book
Lyrical genius

The boys are crazy good at what they do put in 💯percent effort too
Very talented entertaining band
Highly underrated

"Sarsippius ark"
"The plague that makes your booty move "
Is another I thoroughly enjoy
Mad respect 😎✌️♥️
He also wrote a lot of the music for this band and ST.
The most ridiculously serious project to come out of the late 80's metal fusion scene.
The best band any of these guys have ever been in.
Not anymore! Drummer is the new Foo! But I get your point.
Foo sucks.
14 years later, and still jamming to this. It holds up AMAZINGLY.
Woke up with this song in my head. Haven't heard it for probably 8 years.
These guys are what RHCP never lived up to be.

Saw them live in the mid 90s here in Germany. Shit was surreal, such a great party. They had a teenage drummer (18/19) who blew everybody's mind.

@dinein1970 truer words were never spoken. Trujillo has the sensibility of a Jazz Player.
Funky metal groove
Esta canción sería perfecta para un GMV de FlatOut 1.
Robert Trujillo. Who would've known.

Parody? It's straight out of the 90s.
FUNKADELIC ROCK
This is basically pre-nu metal

Further evidence that Robert Trujillo is wasting his talent with Metallica!
Let's be real, if we could go to a job where we only had to do a quarter of the work and make 10x the money, we'd do it too...
Hahahaha, you wouldn't play for Metallica?
@@nathantumulty7172 That's crazy My mother just told me that the other day.
