    I love how all the complaints can be changed with trim level and options, this is a base model xlt.

    • @MatthewSerta1
      @MatthewSerta1  Před 9 lety +3

      ztruk man Its definitely nicer than the 2013 XLT. But there are a lot of better options out in the higher end models. So i wouldn't waste my time on just a XLT

    • @kurtzeman1
      @kurtzeman1 Před 9 lety +7

      SonOfMarvin My complaint would be that the nice options will cost you. Just adding supercrew + 4x4 will cost you 6k.

      SonOfMarvin Lmao, I have a 2013XLT and my truck is better in almost everyway that you show in the video.
      I love how you're bitching about like the dash and other stuff but yet you bought the base model truck. My XLT has a screen similar to the 2015s on the dash, back up camera, chrome package, bedliner, rear sensors.

    • @MatthewSerta1
      @MatthewSerta1  Před 9 lety

      cG BluntSmokeTrauma I like to compare it to the Chrysler 300. did you know the CHEAPEST base model comes with leather seats, 8.4" touch screen, satellite radio, and a LOT of other STANDARD features... Im just suggesting ford should catch up with the times.. Its not a bad truck, But I also didn't buy it. If i were gonna buy one, Id probably spring for the platinum, just because its loaded nice :)
      Also, I compare it to the 2013 XLT because thats the other truck i've reviewed previously ;)

      +SonOfMarvin I am looking at the new f150 Lariat. I think the options that come with that trim level are perfect!

    Now you can buy a 2015 f150 xlt Supercrew fx4 used for $28,000 with 30k miles. Never buy new people.

    • @Celtics20
      @Celtics20 Před 6 lety +5

      that costs 40k still here in the North East. Where are you? Lol

      I just bought a 2015 XLT Ecoboost 3.7??? Not a v8 but not the smallest engine either, it looks excellent with the nicer dash display for $20k and I'm very happy.
      I did put in new coil packs and a turn signal switch, but otherwise everything is working. Oh, someone took the towing bracket and bar so I'll have to find one, otherwise I'm Happy.

    Pretty good review, honest and love the wonderful Carolina accent, back when NASCAR was worth watching this is how most the drivers spoke! Love my 2017 2.7 4wd crew, mine is more the working mans truck, but got everything I want, great power and comfort and good economy for a big truck. I added side steps, for the ones of us with short legs made all the difference in the world, eBay and less than 200 bucks.

    I went to test my new 2015 F-150 on some rough muddy hill climb I had 4H on and when I turned the wheel the truck was making weird sounds, i’m used to AWD suvs so this 4x4 is new to me. What do I drive in the winter?

  • @jesusmillaselva
    @jesusmillaselva Před 8 lety +1

    Trip 1 and trip 2 are used to measure the distance from point A to point B and vice versa. When I go out to another city, I reset both, and measure how many miles takes me to go there. You can reset Trip 1 again to measure how many miles you drive in that town. When you come back to your city, you can check trip 2 for all miles driven in the trip.

    good video , I'm in between a 2013 f150 and a 2015 f150, just sold my silverado z71 2002 got tired of my rust issues constantly coming back

    • @josephfoster30
      @josephfoster30 Před 7 lety +3

      A 2013 f150 is a much better truck then the 2015. The 2015's build quality is horrible inside and the seats are uncomfortable. I have a 2013 f150 fx4 which has the same interiors as the Raptors and it's way better built inside and my seats are super comfy. The new ones are cheaply made.

    Beware People. The new 2015 f150 are having premature warped dash issues. Many owners been having this problem including myself. And many of the trucks sitting on lots all over the country have warped dashes. Buyers beware. This is unacceptable for a brand new vehicle.

    anyone thinks turbo v6 saves gas is a rookie
    my BMW twin turbo sucks gas like no tomorrow.

    • @mattm4772
      @mattm4772 Před 9 lety

      Anything that makes decent power can consume large amounts of fuel. but with the turbo, you have the power when you need it, and the small displacement when you don't. I also have personal experience with two turbo gasoline powered engines, and both COULD do surprisingly well on fuel. Both COULD also be very thirsty.

      iceman man i agree. the 3.5 is 1-2L/100km harder on fuel than the 5.0L. That is my driving style anyway.

    I just bought a 2010 f150 with 5.4L 6sp transmission. for $6500 with100k. I will drive it over for the until the 2015 depreciate to 6k as well. This is my theory for vehicles

    • @helivesonforever
      @helivesonforever Před 9 lety +3

      Youssef Cherqaoui Who let you have a 2010 for 6500? That seems dirt cheap for a truck that cost 35 grand just 5 years ago. Most people around here still want, and get 20 grand for those trucks.
