    We're discussing the use of fatty acids to treat Candida overgrowth. Coconut oil and castor oil sub-fractions, like lauric acid, are effective options.
    For me, bacteria, SIBO, and fungal overgrowth, especially Candida, are key conditions to test for and treat. Different form of fatty acids can disrupt fungal cell membranes, reduce adhesions and biofilms and block the conversion to the hyphal form of candida reducing symptoms and gut damage.
    Currently I favour undecylenic acid-based products like Thorn and microbiome labs. I don't see these as standalone antifungal solutions.

    do you know much about a condition called Lipedema? I'm trying to understand why LCFA are not digested as well, but maybe the shorter chain are. it seems to also be autoimmune and related to the microbiome and poor digestion. I wondered if you had ever worked with people with it.
    PS my salicylate issues seem much better, I can have a little bit of oregano with no skin Reactions now. fingers crossed.

    I’m on Monjauro and I know that it’s the sugar and Sugarfree redbull . I’m type 2D. Is it better to buy a coconut and cut it up and eat it in chunks? Is canned coconut milk ok? MCT oil? Should you alternate the acids.
    I’m going to be really diligent with not eating sugar/refined carbs and cutting out the Redbull and fake sugars.
    I’ve started taking fermented digestive enzymes.im going to buy the undyclic acid and Berberine.

    Hi, I've just recently discovered this whole "Candida" thing and I've been living with heavy debilitating amounts of maybe all of the symptoms of Candida for up to 7 or 8 years or so with no real answers or help from physicians. I just like kinda want to like be able to function normally again and I'm pretty sure this is the answer; though I like went out and bought some thing on Amazon to take called dr bo Candi Cleanse. Maybe I went a little extreme, but I started taking it with every meal and since then, I've been feeling really weird, like getting worse headaches and sleeping for 12-16 hours a day for multiple days... Is that evidence of what they call a "die off," with your experience what do you think I should do?

    I have a candida overgrowth and SIBO. I started a protocol a little over a week ago and started having really bad histamine reactions (breaking out in super itchy hives all over, night sweats, and extremely itchy at night). I started taking histamine digest 3 times a day, and that seems to be helping. I still have a long road ahead of me. Any thoughts about histamine intolerance while dealing with SIBO and Candida? Thank you! Wish I lived closer! I'm in the US

    Hi Byron, do you know how much undecylenic acid is in a teaspoon or twblespoon of organic hexsne free castor oil? Wondering if you can get the same amount by just taking castor oil but theres no info on how much of it is in castor oil

    • @ByronHerbalist
      @ByronHerbalist  Před 6 měsíci

      no unfortunately I don't know that. Castor oil is generally contraindicated for internal use unless you know what you're doing.

    • @dprice81
      @dprice81 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@ByronHerbalisthi Byron, yes but is the contraindication for profit to hide a cheaper remedy or legit issue with taking castor oil. I have taken it internally before and didn't have an issue. But theres no way to know if I can get 300 mg of undecylenic by taking a certain amount of castor oil. It could be a small amount or large unreasonable amount. I guess best known thing to do is just take the undecylenic.

      If you get thorne's, the rec dosage on the bottle is quite good. Had great results with it, but you need to start with 1-2 caps first, very minimal because if you feel something you'll feel it very very strongly.

    • @mohannadali9662
      @mohannadali9662 Před 10 dny +1

      Try clove and or cinnamon tea. Just boil them for 5 to ten minutes. Also be careful that it will lower your stomach acid pH level (it will lower acidity). You need high acidity because it also kills bacteria. So when you're done drinking the tea, take apple cider vinegar and salt diluted in water. Take a lot and don't worry about acid reflux; your stomach can handle it very easily. But don't let it linger in your mouth because it may damage your teeth so drink somewhat quick.

      @@jefferadus8582 you're most welcome and again don't be shy on the vinegar. Take some carrots (has a lot of fiber per 100 grams which is good food for good bacteria) with the vinegar or right after. That way you ensure the right bacteria is eating it.
