All The Hidden Book Clues Reveal The Rightful Heir For The Throne! A Song of Ice and Fire (Theory)

- Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire Theory video. Today I will be showing you all the hidden book clues that reveal who is next in line for the Iron Throne. As you all know, Daenerys Targaryen won the Iron Throne after defeating Cersei Lannister and her forces, however, she did not have the throne for very long. After Jon and Dany's final scene, Drogon melted the Iron Throne with his dragon flame. Afterwards, Bran Stark became the King of the Seven Kingdoms in Westeros. The books very well could end this same way... but that doesn't mean Bran Stark is next in line for the Iron Throne. I believe the rightful heir is foreshadowed throughout all 5 books in A Song of Ice and Fire. Now you will see just how many clues there are. Let me know what you think down below. Thanks for watching the video!

N+A=J
Yeah N+A=J has its logic. But R+L=J will be a better story. And why would GRRM drop so many R+L=J clues if it is not the case ? Also, you have to remember, before any of these theories were made, N+A=J was the obvious one and R+L=J was the hidden one.
@@chad871127 He dropped those clues to fool you. It's what he does and why is him being a Targaryan a better story?
I know many people don't like it, but I am rooting for the N+A=J theory, even though it's a great chance it won't happen. I just never liked the idea of Jon not being Ned's son, I've hated it from the start..lol. But it is what it is🤷♀️
@@RewindThatwithMsKay wait who's n+a?
@@shawnd121 Ned + Ashara?
The most telling line was when Jon says why he wasn’t allowed in the yard with Rob n Joffrey n Jon says “ Bastards aren’t allowed to hit a prince/king”. The truth was Joffreys the bastard n Jons a king
Yes! This might be one of my favorite clues! Dramatic irony at its best!
Nice!
Awesome
As a son of Ashara Dayne and Brandon Stark he is no king.
Would this also apply Joffrey striking Arya?
I am rereading the books again. In one of Jon’s chapters, he is sleeping after fighting on the wall with a hurt leg. He is given dream wine and falls asleep right away. He walks in the tombs at Winterfell and the statues are telling him he does not belong here BUT he does see a wolf, not Ghost, a gray wolf that juts so happens to be by his mothers tomb. This is something important I think as well. Just. A note.
I thought the same thing. The wolf is telling Jon this is your mother, and she is with you.
Tasha Crawford The grey wolf first reminded him of Ghost, but it was Gray like Summer. So this has to mean something.
@@sunteacup Bran's wolf. Or Bran warging into Summer. Letting Jon know who he really is.
That's weird cuz ashara isn't buried in winterfell

Wouldn’t it be great if the book ended differently than the show

I’m an English major, so I get caught up on syntax. When you look at that quote from the exchange between John and Mormont, I read it as Mormont’s eyes never left John’s. Check out the placing of the comma.
“Mormont stroked their raven under the beak with a finger, but all the while his eyes never left John.”

Indeed, that is the evident import of the sentence.

Martin said repeatedly in interviews the reason he let D&D do the show was because he asked them flat out out who Jon’s mother was, and they’d guessed it. So… it’s clearly canon that Jon will be a Targaryen in the books as well.
What I love about this channel is that whilst the show has ended, we keep getting small about the details in the books whilst we wait for the winds of winter.
haha you still think he's gonna love long enough to bring that out ? 😂😂😂
Thanks!
An Idiot Learns Winds of winter, Maybe. A dream of spring…no

George is so detailed in his writing, it’s insane how talented he is. It really makes sense why he’s taking so long to come out with winds, on top of all the time he took off from writing to enjoy the life his talent rewarded him.
You raise a solid point. 👍
Ummmm, taking THIS long is ridiculous. He spent a long time working with HBO on the GoT series instead of writing the final books in the series. I really wish he had finished the books before the series was put to screen 😕. I suppose the positive spin on this for me is that I love most of the actors that put so many beloved characters to life 🙂
@@DSmith-tx5pz yes it’s true he’s taking way longer than he should be to come out with the next book, but you gotta think about all the factors into why it’s taking so long. This video alone shows how much work he puts into his writing and the detail to remain consistent with all of the plots he’s introduced.
You also gotta look at the success this series has brought him. The books were popular before the show and the show more than doubled his fame. He was already 60 when the show started so I really can’t blame him for wanting to reap the benefits of his work knowing that he’s already an old man. If Winds never come out we as a fan base gotta be happy to at least have the THOUSANDS of pages he’s already given us to enjoy so let him live his life k? :)
I hope Tyrion isn’t a secret Targaryen. I also find it ironic how at the feast in Winterfell, the actual bastard (Joffrey) is at the feast and the real royalty (Jon Snow) is outside for being a “bastard.”
That punk Joffrey 😒
It would've make more sense if Jaime and Cersei were secret Targaryens instead of Tyrion!
Regardless of Jon's lineage, he has always been treated as an outsider and always will be. In fact, that is where he fits in most. King of the outsiders. He will not rule Westeros in the end but he will continue to be an advocate for all outsiders and free folk and offer them a safe haven.
Found another one.
In Dany's vision in the house of the undying there was a blue flower in a Ice wall. Later Theon reminds Lyanna with blue roses.
(That section also forshadowed the red wedding)
One thing that few noticed on that chapter where Theon dreams with dead people (Ned and Robert) and people who were going to die (Robb and Grey Wind), Catelyn and the rest of the Stark children don't appear which symbolizes:
1. Catelyn being ressurrected as LS
2. Jon, Sansa, Arya, Bran and Rickon will (probably) survive until the end of ADOS!
I agree with a good amount of the foreshadowing and allusions you're pointing out here, but I've always thought that the cat in the story is Balerion, Princess Rhaenys's cat. And the story hints that the cat - who would now be over 15 years old - causes havoc around the castle because he knows these usurpers are responsible for the death of his Person - Tywin especially.
I didn’t actually start watching GOT until after Season 7 had been released. Obviously, I had heard about the juggernaut it had quickly become. I didn’t have HBO so I didn’t even think much about watching it. That is, not until my mother had discovered it and began watching it and told me about it. I instantly became a huge fan. I became curious about the books bc anytime a movie or show is created from a book or book series, there are going to be some differences. I was stunned when I found out about just exactly how much different the tv show is from the books! It isn’t just little differences of minor details, D & D basically created a completely different story, so many events and storylines in the show are either not in the books or the storylines are happening to different characters. D & D had the opportunity to really do the book series justice by lengthening each season and extending the show series by several more seasons and the show would have stayed the biggest HBO hit series. I can’t wait to read the books
Didn't he say the books end up the same as the show anyway ? I cant even watch anything GOT anymore after the last season im actually STILL PISSED lol
Ideas for a writer are constantly changing as you're developing the story. The ending sometimes can be different from the one you originally had when you first started. But in this case, you're right. He's on record for saying the books and show will take different roads but arrive at the same place. So he's painted himself in a corner and committed to that shitty ending.
@@trustfund82, true. Besides, GRRM described himself as a gardener kind of writer. He doesn't really have a concrete plan for how his story ends. He simply plants the seeds and let them grow.
Nah none of the fanfiction from season 7 and 8 will be in the books
@@rupertgarcia Agreed. His take will definitely be a lot more detailed and make sense but I don't think he can back out of the major plot lines that the show revealed (maybe he can *shrug*) like Daenerys going psycho and Bran becoming king. Those look like early ideas he was tossing around in his head at the time David and Dan were quizzing him about how it ends. This's why it sucks when an adaption bypasses the source material - they wind up using an author's rough ideas. The Harry Potter movies almost had this problem because the young cast was growing up fast and JK Rowlings hadn't released the final books at the time. But I remember how crazy fast she wrote them and got them published....probably why I feel the quality of those last couple of books suffered a little imho.
GRRM said that some of his ending will be the same as the show and some will be different. And I think even those parts that end up the same will be better written and more convincing.
Oh wow that pick up about Kings hiding underneath the snow in the North was really good I have not thought about that before
Love your channel! Whenever I get a notification that you've dropped a new video, I stop whatever I'm doing to watch. To me, the line "I'm no Aemon Targaryen" is proof that he IS an Aemon Targaryen.
I am still shell shocked from how ther show ended. I'm waiting for the release if the next book to start the series.

Just start them. They are worth reading, and most likely George is never going to publish the last book in the series anyway. He says in Dream Songs II, that he never finishes series. He gets bored with them and loses interest. His behavior in the last several years has born that out.
You’re so good at finding the clues! Great finds!
Its been a while i visited your channel. I literally came here after every episode!
If anyone still have any doubts then read this. This is Arya talking with Beric Dondarrions Square Ned (he is from Dorne) : How do you know about Jon?"
"He is my milk brother."
"Brother?" Arya did not understand . "But you're from Dorne. How could you and Jon be blood?"
"Milk brothers. Not blood. My lady mother had no milk when I was little, so Wylla had to nurse me." Now Ned found Lyana in Dorne, and Jon was nursed because his mother Lyana was dead
That doesn't prove R+L=J tho. Just proves Jon was in Dorne as a baby. Some people think Jon is actually the son of Ashara and Ned's older brother. Some people think Dani is their child. People have been debating this for decades.
@@kkcamp02 why would any mother commit suicide after giving birth a son? You are over thinking and it is something D&D did that's going to happen in the books too
I am marathoning these as I work all night (all weekend) long and want to thank, and curse, you for how often I find myself frozen in an uncontrollable fit of intense listening/concentrating/imagining. Great stuff...very well done.
The quote about the cat could also pertain to Bloodraven. *Older than sin* and Leaf acknowledges that he's well beyond his natural life span. It could also be that Bloodraven is effectually ruler of Westeros because of his current job as a greenseer.
Man, this was some excellent work and we are ALL thankful to you for it!
However, I find it bizarre that you did not mention the one from te Melisandre chapter in ADWD when Mel glimpses into her fires and exclaims:
"I pray to R'hlorr for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, yet all I see is Snow!"
---
Even more bizarrely, this is actually THE ONLY "hint" that I've caught completely ON MY OWN, without anyone having to point it out to me.
It's just so obvious, I immediately got it. Yet, somehow YOU didn't, even with all the extra sources at your hand? :O
To be fair, it also needs to be pointed out that I was not familiar with the R+L=J theory until AFTER I had read the previous four books (aGoT up to and including aFfC).
So once aDwD rolled out, I was already prepared.
That's really amazing! Thank you for this video
So smart, very intuitive! I read, watch and reread an watch again. . . Keep it up with the entirety of both the early book chapters and HBO seasons. Thanks!!!
For one scary second, when you showed that image of Bran Stark, standing before the Winterfell Weirwood, and simultaneously said: "But we all know who the REAL heir to the throne is," I was dreading that you were going to say "Bran Stark." If you'd said that, you would have lost me right there. I would have immediately shut down the video, and went on with my life.
Thankfully, you're not crazy. And you're right about Jon Snow.
I think the reason Ned put Lyanna & Brandon’s bones in the crypt is also within this secret. Brandon was technically Lord of Winterfell since his father died first. Lyanna was the mother of a prince/king and likely a princess.
Lyanna's child can't be a prince or princess. Rhaegar was already married and had two children
LORD SNOW ok
I don't think Lord Rickard died first; didn't King Aerys force Lord Rickard to watch Brandon strangle himself trying to reach the sword in order to save his father?
Edit: Nevermind I think you're right, I forgot that Lord Rickard was suspended above a flame and I do believe he technically died first.
Good stuff you got a knack for these thing.
Your videos are brilliant!! Thank you. I was so unhappy with so many unanswered questions left with the show and the crap last season being rushed and rubbish that only your video with ‘ how it should have ended “made me get any sense of relief and contented finale and end to the story!! Well thought our every time and detailed to a tea! Bloody awesome! Thank you
Happy Friday! Thanks for another great video! ♥️💃🏿
I believe Jon is the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna but I don't believe he's the heir to the Targaryen line. When Rhaegar fell on the trident Aerys decided to make Viserys his heir while Rhaegar's son Aegon and Rhaeneys were still alive, Aerys basically ignored Rhaegar's line of succession. Also Rhaella crowned Viserys on Dragonstone when she got word that Aerys was dead. Viserys didn't have any children so that made Daenerys his heir. Also didn't Grrm say that Jon wasn't the heir to the Targaryen line? I can see Jon as King in the North for a bit but I still don't see him being the heir to the throne.
Love your content Talking Thrones, keep up the good work.
I think Dany will be the child of Rhaegar and lyanna in the books. Jon will be in the son of Ned and Ashara
@@moneymayweathera Seriously , I would rather R+L=D and N+A=J.
@@moneymayweathera There's a posibility. Rhaegar was obsessed with the Azor Ahai prophecy, which seems to involve the "Three Heads of the Dragon". He named his children, Aegon and Rhaenys, after two of the three conquerors, respresented in the three dragon heads of the Targaryen banner. Maybe Dany was supposed to be the Visenya of the trio.
And then there's the lemon tree in Dany's house of the red door. Dany said the house was in Braavos, but there are no lemon trees in Braavos. There are lemon trees in the lands of Dorne, ruled by the Martells, who are Targaryen loyalists. Probably Dany was born in the Tower of Joy in Dorne. We know from Edric Dayne that Jon did.
@@armandopena4929 Remember Ned before the fever dream, he wasn't thinking about Jon, he was obsessing over Robert killing Dany.
@@jimfox1477 Yeah, I noticed that Ned rarely thought about Jon in his chapters and more about Dany

As an avid reader of the ASOIF books, I am a believer in R + L = J. I've read and heard many examples backing this theory over time, with Jon being the rightful heir, but I must say you have given quite the exhaustive list of evidence! The Varamyr example blew my mind. I had not picked up on that one (silly me). Good sleuthing Thrones!!! 😉 Now who actually sits on the throne may be another story...
Me too ..... I just hate the Bran part
That "2nd life worthy of a king" can have another meaning too
If he is king then it's Aegon Targaryen as the king and Jon Snow as the 2nd life. He's saying that about his wolf (dire wolf sigil of house stark) so his wolf/being a Stark named Jon Snow, IS the 2nd life.

I’ve watched the tv series about 4 times 😬 but just started reading the books, (only on 3rd) but it is easier to spot these clues I think, obviously because we do know some outcome. Dani has clues also in her chapters, especially when she visits the house of the undieing. I can see connection to JS. Love it!!!!!!!!!!

Fascinating! Well done sir! Excellent detective work! I love all of your videos, but prefer when you focus on the books instead of the show.
I think Tyrion is the only child of Tywin (even Genna Lannister says so). I think Jaime and Cersei are the bastards of Joanna and Mad King Aerys. It would be so poetic and ironic, to have the mad king killed by his son and accursed as a kingslayer and a kinslayer, and his daughters (if daenerys is his daughter) complete his legacy by burning kings landing to the ground.
Also, wouldn't it be something if Tyrion - the child Tywin always denies - was really, truly Tywin's true son and heir.
Exactly and when the children he used to be so proud of weren't his. I like this theory better than Tyrion being a Targaryen. Maybe they got their incestuous behaviour from the Targaryen line?
@@jonathansc5112 Exactly, and for a father (Tywin) so obsesed with family legacy, to have his step-daughter to actually fulfil her father's legacy by blowing up Kings Landing with wildfire makes such a great story...
And for the twins, they actually have a good claim for the throne, as Aerys uninherited Rhaegar and made Vyseris his heir, but said nothing about Daenerys (she may actually not be his daughter), making Jaime and Cersei the oldest offspring, Daenarys the aleged trueborn daughter, Jon the heir to Rhaegar's line, or Faegon if he weren't a Blackfyre. That makes the waters murky and prepare the Targaryens for a civil war.
Also, i think there will be a moment when Jaime realises he has killed his father, and his darkest dreams point to this event: when he goes down the stairs, in darkness, and speaks with his mother.
@@iagocasabiellgonzalez7807 I tend to think that fAegon will be the descendent of a Targ, but not necessarily a Blackfyre. Maybe from Saera Targaryen's line? Or maybe from a different bastard of Aegon the Unworthy (he sure had a lot of them)?
I think theyre all his. Jaime and Cersei match the timeline for tywin and joanna. The thing is Tywin wasn't really proud of any of his kids. He thought Jaime would have been the golden child, but he gave up wedding someone and bearing children to be a kingsguard. To me its poetic justice that all three of his kids 'failed' him in some way because he valued superficial things concerning the legacy of his family name over the love of his children.
Wow, I didn't see all those connections. I just considered Lyanna begging Ned to promise something as she lay dying in a "bed of blood" with Ned's refusal to have any gossip about Jon's real mother. There aren't many illnesses that would result in death by hemorrhage, but bleeding to death from childbirth is a common cause of death for women in Westeros. babies are a known hazard of sex, and there's no dispute that Lyanna and Rhaegar were sexually intimate; the only question was whether it was by rape or with full consent. You'd think that Robert should have realized that Lyanna being pregnant by Rhaegar when he "rescued" her was a distinct possibility, but Robert seems to have been unusually good at refusing to see what he didn't wish to see.
Plus, there's all the emphasis on Ned promising her something while she lay dying. Yes, it could have been to bring her body back to Winterfell, but that doesn't seem to have happened, or Ned would have said "It was what she wanted" during the crypt scene with Robert rather than "She was a Stark; her place was here."
Didn't Aerys disinherit Rhaegar's children?
Yeah he did mostly because they were Dornish-looking.

One of the best lines this show ever created
In Book One there was some mention of a dragon hidden at Winterfell. I thought this was a referene to some hot water or thermal spring that provided warm water for Winterfell. But maybe it was Jon.
As always, great work.
You delved very deep; I take off my hood för You.

I’ve watched the show at least 15 times and just recently started reading book 1 for the first time. The only clue you mentioned from book 1 that I caught was the one about the young dragon! I missed so many! My favorite is the last one! More vids like this please!
Can’t wait for the Winds of Winter!
Thank you for the response!
I remember reading that Arya looks less than her mother but more like her Aunt Lyanna. The books also say (if i remember correctly) that Jon and Arya look more like brother and sister than their other siblings
yeah Arya got Stark look, grey eye, long face, brown hair so does Jon. All other Ned kids got Tully looks Blue eye,red Hair ,etc
This is so exiting, all this clues. Whether they end up being true or not, the journey of reading the books and wating for the next, while in the middle making all this theories, has been really joyfull.
In the chapters of Ned Stark whenever he mentioned Rheagar or Lyana he mentioned Jon too. It seemed like Ned Stark knew that Jon is their son... From the beginning so hell yeah its gonna happen in the books too
There's no doubt in my mind.

@Jan Scherzer Tyrion's probably a chimera-child, fathered both by Aerys and Tywin so he's got more meaning than you'd think. :) Check out genetic chimerism and superfecundation - it's scientifically possible for that to happen in real life.

Jon was a night watch deserter, his vows weren't just until death, They were "for all my nights to come". Jon had no claim and he broke his vows. Plus didn't Aerys make Visery he's new crown prince over Rheagers children.
Yes, it would have passed to Viserys because no one would know of Jon. I think Jon ends up being the final villain; king of the others. Bran is certainly their instrument.
"Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."
It's a bit of a grey area. He is pledging his life and honor for all nights to come, not his watch. It could be argued that when he was killed by his men, his life ended, and should he be resurrected, a new life will begin. Perhaps he will still owe his honor to the night's watch. Regardless, he is still a confessed deserter. However, many suspect that his out of character call to action was due to a poisoning (see altshiftx).
@@estaban2527 His whole life was pledged to the night watch, for all his nights to come, the way I see death doesn't release Jon of his vows.
@@Nga_Babaye It wouldn't pass to Jon, because Aerys changed the line of succession to Visery.
As no one ever came back to life after death in the watch, it's a legal loophole for Jon. There is NOTHING in the vows that say it's for even if you die and come back to life. Martin killed Jon because he needed him elsewhere and had written himself in a corner by having him in the Night's Watch. I think the creator of the story knows more about his world than you.
There's only one reliable leader left in Westeros: Stannis. He's got the birthright. He's in his prime. He's a tried and tested battle commander, and he doesn't just talk about paying people back, he does it!
I LOVE these videos 😩🙌🏽 a Tyrion video would be awesome. Your evidence is pretty solid yet a lot of people still think R + L= Danny. Maybe Martin is trying to mislead us. I wonder if there is any hidden clues to this.

I know I saw an interview regarding why GRRM agreed to hire Dillhole&Dingleberry as showrunners. GRRM asked the guys after reading the books, who they thought Jon's parents were. They answered Rhaghar and Lyanna.
When talking about black tomcat, the book says it was rumored to be the royal children's cat, Aegon and Raines... don't have a quote ready, I thought this may be worth mentioning since Jon's name is Aegon as well. thanks for the videos....Harmony
Even if Jon is Rhaegar's son, Viserys was already crowned by Queen Rhaella Targaryen in Dragonstone as King after Aerys' death and Daenerys was proclaimed as his heir. If we are going to talk about legitimacy, Dany has a better claim because she's a daughter of a King and Queen while Jon is just a son of a dead Crown Prince to a 2nd (alleged) wife, and we cannot even justify their marriage because the royal family and the Martells were not informed of such documents and agreements. 🤷♂️
If we are talking about legit heirs then the targaryens are no longer in line since the baratheon took over by right of conquest. Yeah viserys and dany were only kids but why didnt anyone else try to help them reclaim thier birthright? Bc its nonexistent and they would have to reconquer
@@podpayne5897 let's say that is the situation. Even if the people argue over Jon's right to the throne, Daenerys has the means to conquer the Seven Kingdoms, and take the throne for herself, not Jon. We already know this with Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen's civil war with his brother. It didn't even matter who's the rightful one as long as you have the means to fight for it.
If Jon was legitm his claim would be greater than hers but once he's a bastard Dany has a greater claim. I don't believe Rhaegar and Lyanna got married on the books, they were just lovers.
Jon is before Dany. You can hate it but males always come before the females
@@meloderieugif2294 No it wouldn't be greater, Aerys disinherited Rheager line in favour for Visery, Daenery was Visery heir. It doesn't magically go back to Jon, because there only one line of succession.
My man!!!! I can see that you are a big Jon Snow fan, so am I. Please make a video on how Jon burnt his arm in the first book when he is a Targaryen, blood of the Dragon and can not be burnt.
...first off grrm said targaryens arent immune to being burned. Dany in the fire with the dragons was magic so obviously she wasnt gonna be burnt but burning the khals is nit canon so, ??? I mean if you wanna bring up burned targaryens then why did aegon die in summerhall if hes dany great grandpa?
@@podpayne5897 exactly
Aegon the egg , Ducan Targaryen were died by burnt
This is a big lie the show runners made up, the Targaryen's display a high resistance to fire but they get burnt, the egg, Maester Aemon mentioned in the books and show died in a fire with a lot of Targaryen's in it 🤣
Jon may be the only living person truly entitled to sit on the Iron Throne and wear the crown, but I believe he'll be the last king of Westeros. Kings haven't served the country well, and Jon knows that. He wasn't raised or trained to accept the title, so he won't be making a major sacrifice to refuse it -- or, possible, destroy the throne and end the Targaryen history of domination.
He may appoint a council of Wardens or "guardians" to make what had previously been considered royal decisions, but I don't see either "Aegon VI Targaryen" OR Jon Snow tolerating the game-playing and manipulation necessary for royalty to function.
It will be Jon who "breaks the wheel".
This video blew my mind
Thanks for checking it out
i REALLY hope tyrion doesn't end up as a targaryen
Dear me! Thank you for linking Jon to the Red Keep's Tomcat. I entirely missed the black bastard-link there. - And I just realized: Jon is the BROTHER of the black Tomcat Balerion in the Red Keep, since Balerion has been warged by his eldest sister Rhaenys at her death. - And the warging-magic makes Balerion, the black cat, and Ghost the white wolf... siblings! - O.o (Mindblown)
WHOA! How do you know Rhaenys warged Balerion?! Where’d you find that?
@@jamesalexander5025 She is of Blackwood blood and the cat was with her under the bed, when she was pulled out and killed. She warged into him and since then he fights all the people who occupied her castle. There happened some magical interaction when Arya picked her cousin up, GRRM has not yet explained. They probably mindlinked for a moment, afterwards Arya's first identity-changing starts: first she is not recocgnized as a girl and the next moment not as Arya Stark. Her little cousin was locked in a Tomcat for almost two deacades, Arya must have received very confused mindpictures.
@@MagnaMater2 I never picked up on that AT ALL and I've read all the books twice! That's amazing! Thanks for sharing. Also, since you seem to clearly be deep into reading the text of ASOIAF (and maybe additional sources GRRM has provided), how do you feel about the theory that Tyrion is a Targaryen?
wasn't that black cat arya chased also Balerion, Jon's half-sister's cat, or at least speculated to be
He's the right color and was just a kitten during the sack of KL, so it's definitely possible within the timeline. And that cat would have good reason to hate Tywin.
I think it is.
It's also Azor Ahai. And Bloodraven. And probably a secret Targaryen.
Good job
I really hope GRRM finds this channel and gives you the credit you deserve
AFTER he finishes the books. Let's keep GRRM's potential distractions to a minimum right now. ;)
He doesn't look at fan theories, his writing computer isn't even connected to the internet. (could be not true but I read that somwhere)
@@oracle5872 I'd believe it, theres plenty of writing software's you don't need internet for, but the more likely thing was he turns the internet off when he writes
This is the best video there is on the foreshadowing of Jon Snow as the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
There was also a throw away clue early on, throw away because after Ned's death u would never get an explanation. It's when on the way down the king's rd Ned says to Jon next time I see u I will talk of your mother hinting that a destiny awaits for Jon but Ned wants to wait until Jon has taken his vows and is honour bound not to follow his destiny, this is also said at the junction in the rd one way to the wall the other king's landing.
Everyone always forgets the last sentence of the prologue of the first book. They say something like our only hope now is "Snow"
I think Jon's revival might have something to do with an (in)ability to become king. Are we getting a Beric revival or are we getting a Lady Stoneheart revival? Or does he even actually die?
My personal hope is a Lady Stoneheart revival where he slaughters the Bolton's and Frey's at Winterfell, although I know that would affect the rest of the story arc.
I think GRRM left so many crumbs for his favorite and most important characters. But it takes careful observation and insight like yours to find a lot of them.
Hot Pie for King!!
Awesome ! well done... great work !!
Need to pick up the books again...
Also the fact that and Egg were humbled before becoming kings. That sheds a new light for me as to why Jon is a Targaryen.
Jon and Egg
21:50 this is perfect foreshadowing of Jon snow king
I really can't shake my head from Dany saying "I will break the wheel". To me, this is foreshadowing that there will be no united kingdom in the end. I still think Drogon will torch King's Landing (although written much better by GRRM, may even involve Bran warging it for umm... reasons) and nobody wants to be ruler of the ashes. Then consider that there are major undercurrents in the story for the North to become an independent kingdom and that Dorne has no reason to swear fealty to whoever wants to clamor over the ashes. And possibly one of the most underrated players, the Iron Bank, may finally decide that Westeros is a failed investment and cut their losses. Also, Euron Greyjoy is trying to become a Lovecraftian god or whatever, so there's that.
I wish D&D actually read the books and was able to decode things the way you do. Then they should have consulted with the author on a heck of a lot more for the last two seasons. The show would have been so 🔥lit. It makes no sense that this treasure trove of material manifested into that dumpster fire AKA seasons 7 and 8. So many missed opportunities, so many screw ups, so many wasteful scenes, just pure hot garbage. D&D both need 2 stupidity trophies each, just in case they lose one.
Do a video about Tyrion being a Targaryen. Thank You. I caught a few things but I wish to hear your reasoning.
Must get the books!
The Twins and their children are all Targaryens. Tyrion is the true son of Tywin, The Mad King was so sneaky in planting Targaryens in Tywin's wife.
