The best Pink Floyd ! David Gilmour is the master of the Stratocaster and loves letting the other musicians shine at their best as well.

I was there, at the New York show, to have the most amazing music experience of my life. Not only was the light show mesmerizing (when that giant ball started to rise, then it opens like a flower) but the music, ohhh... the sax player was the best complement, the female vocalists were powerful, the sheer volume of the clearest notes all around me, someone could scream and I could not hear one person in the audience, and ...ahhh... David Gilmore, he even smiled once, enjoying the superhuman effort poured out in those shows. Only HE can jam on his songs and still sound like what the songs are supposed to say.
Seen them on the division bell tour in 94. The whole event was about 5 times the size of this one. And when the 100 ft glitter ball rose it was in the middle of the crowd in the darkness...all of a sudden 4 aircraft search lights hit it from each corner of the stadium...97.000 with vacant stares on their faces..once in a lifetime feeling..👌
От этой музыки сжимается сердце... Обожаю Дэвида💜💜💜

@@nigelgrove I was just thinking how sad I will be when David passes, sorry to be a downer, but I had to respond to your comment. The music will live on, it's so timeless, any of this could've just been written. Long live Pink Floyd!🎼🎸David Gilmour!
It’s as if in Sorrow.. Gilmour has the ability to make the guitar cry. Incredible. Also love the drums. Favourite song.
I remember the first time I saw that mirror ball open up. I was gobsmacked. I thought I would never see it again except as a fading memory. Thank you.
Lexington, Ky @ Rupp Arena, nothing but utter perfection. Love this version of Shine On and the amazing Comfortably Numb solo by Sir David. At 65 I still can't believe how fortunate I was seeing this show and the unreal Silverdome show for The Division Bell tour, life is great when you're true to The Floyd. Oh how we would all love to see Gilmour tour one last time and just think what a 2023 Pink Floyd tour for the 50th anniversary of DSOTM would be. ( Dream on We Crazy Diamonds )
Out of every concert I have been to hands down this one was the best, I just wished it was the whole show.
No one needs to give more words to Gilmour/Mason/Richard... they are Pink Floyd.... but we also need to give extra credits in this performance... All the Saxophone solos are simply amazing, out of this World!!! Wild beast!!!!! Amazing!!!!
Sin Roger no es Pink floyd, Sin demeritar las extraordinarias interpretaciones.
You are never in quarantine when PF is playing
Now in our time there is no such music.
They are a hard act to follow!
And probably there would be no more in next centuries. ☹️
Yep there's nothing else like the Floyd, all those years ago, way back in the early 60's and still standing strong.I saw Pink Floyd four times, the first time was in Amougies Belgium in 1969.
Lucky you!
I last saw them at Wembley Stadium in 1988, and they were absolutely incredible. By far the best gig I have ever been to.
Das ist eine Legende. Perfekte , wunderschöne Musik.

Oh my. 1973 as a Zepllin fan, I bought this DARK SIDE OF THE MOON album. I was 23, in my second APT, first time living alone. So as instructed, which was a rare thing in those days, set up the stereo, headphones on, mental tune up...and off, I went. WTH WAS THAT? Must repeat, now at 70 watching CZcams videos of the FLOYD! What a ride it's been.
Dean, people like you paved the way for us Youngsters, I am 57 and feel the same way, Cheers.
Dean Tait, two of my favorites(and Stones, and Bowie,ok,4 of my faves),I went to sleep every night in 9th and 10th grade to all four of those bands stacked on my turntable, side A one night then side B the next night. Honestly,I never ever get tired of listening to Pink Floyd, any album from them 70’s❤️🎼🤘
Good memories! Dark Side of the Moon was released exactly 47 years ago today (March 1st, 1973 in the US)!! 😎
Me becoming enlightened at Hollywood Bowl in 1972, playing this music without missing a day since. Such a lifetime enjoying the VERY BEST
Dean Tait I was 22 then. Thanks
time's going by, but PF remains………………...thank you forever.
Will there ever be better music? NEVER
The sublime "Shine on you crazy diamond", "Time", "The great gig in the sky" and the guitar solo of "Comfortably numb" are masterpieces as well as Bach our Debussy's masterpieces. This is classical music ! According to me the Pink Floyd made their best tour in 1987-1988 (but I was far too young to attend one of those concerts).
Let me tell you fellow fan it was awesome. Sydney Australia 1988.
I was 30 years old then, and I kick myself frequently. I think I would've flown across the big pond to see them now...
Hindsight is 20-20 I suppose. 🤨✌
I was old enough - and saw this show in Philadelphia at Veteran's Stadium. My number one concert experience - ever. They were simply stupendous.
Gilmour's ability and talent on the guitar is something I'll never get over.. He is the master of sound that a guitar can make in a live surroundings. . Every time I hear Comfortably NUMB, I get numb and go off to another place.. The three ladies that backed the vocals are excellent representatives of the music world..Rachal, the shortest of the three adds sex appeal also.. but they all have wonderful voices...
I don't know that I've ever seen David smile so much. Great show!

I attended this concert in Dallas in 1989. It was a fantastic concert, the best of Pink Floyd. I was at Pulse too in 1993, but this was the best.
The Delicate Sound of Thunder Concert was the Best Concert I have ever been to, even if you weren't a huge Floyd fan, there was so much going on, looked up and Clouds were rolling by, it was not just Musically Perfect, the Laser Light Show was way ahead of anything Else!

I was wondering if the 20th century will be looked back on in thousands of years fondly because they still know and use something we created and continue to enjoy it as much as we have because we are some of the luckiest humans ever on earth to be born at a time when great musicians were creating magic that will be forever admired and enjoyed. Space was great, inventing the computer changed the world but music from our century will be looked back as one of the most valuable things humans ever created.

in the USSR it was the only album available, it was released on two vinyl records. And this is Pinkfloyd's best album. In Russia, even now it is possible to purchase it on vinyl in good condition without difficulty. In general, with us, if a person loves Pinkfloyd, this is a sure sign of high intelligence and philosophical perception of the world.

Best ever version of "On The Turning Away". Wow man can he play the freakin guitar. Smooth, melodic, mind boggling. I never get tired of David Gilmour's guitar solos. Pittsburgh in '75, Orlando in '88, Tampa in '94. Wish I had gone to more. I had "Delicate" on VHS when it first came out, this is much better. Seems very uncut. Thanks for posting.
I had the VHS tape of this too; I made so many copies for friends (Statute of Limitations notwithstanding, I hope, anyways) over the years that I eventually had to replace it, so here's a cautionary tale for y'all: dubbing hurts everybody, not just the greedy record executives...
