  • In Bama County, Guangxi, China, living past the age of a hundred isn't just commonplace, it's become a tourist attraction. People from big cities flock to villages like Longhong to meet the centenarians and try to learn the secret of their longevity.
A self-proclaimed 118-year-old has adopted a flexitarian (or semi-vegetarian) diet. "He doesn't eat much meat," says his 87-year-old son.
One Chinese researcher suggests that several geological factors there contribute to longevity, including a karst landform, a higher than normal magnetic field, and a nearby fault zone.

So basically people in this village live long because of clean air and no pollution. This fact brings tourists which helps bring the town out of poverty. Except this tourism will pollute the air and the land, decreasing the age of its inhabitants and therefore make this once unique town like all others. Sad.

According to theory of relativity, time is a relative.
Bama is a singular point on earth magnetic field, so time is lower there.
But it's has no meaning to get such Longer life, since activity and meaning of life is always same in different time-space system.

Life only stops if you let it or its your time to go. You can allow life to lose its luster and your abilities very young, and some very old. It's the age within that matters....they rest are purely physical. We are more in change of our conditions than most ever imagine.

Why people are interested in longer lives? Longer life is a pity a pain and disgusting. Get rid of longer lives. The longer life one will spend the more sins he/she will commit. There is no escape from death. Old homes, miserable life.
