At first I wasn't sure whether this video was a yolk or, if it wasn't, whether I should need to shell out for eggspensive materials. I was wrong on both counts, so I am now scrambling away to my tying desk so I can hatch a few of these easy imitations. I never used to be able to get my egg patterns looking good, but I suspect that, if I start ova again using McFly Foam, they might turn out a bit better.

An eggcellent eggxample of a simple fly that works great. It uses no eggxotic materials that come in eggstroridinary color options, and is not very eggspensive. I got carried away. I was trying to see how many egg puns I could get in one sentence.

Most hard-boiled fly fishermen don’t use egg flies but I find they fish over(ly)) easy especially in winter when trout feel coddled and ready to eat anything. The opinions on egg flies tend to be scrambled I guess.
Some guy gave me some eggs to try on the Williams Fork. I still have them. Good to know you do have a limit with beads.
