    SCREW Walmart. I haven't shopped at China-Mart in over 8 years and never intend to again. I would be embarrassed to have anyone see me even making a u turn in their parking lot.

    Walmart is leading ecommerce business in india.
    Leading payment service in india with 500million plus customers.
    Walmart would do better in developing countries than amazon and amazon is just in a lousy market now.
    Amazon failed in china, almost failing in japan,southkorea, failed in africa, struggling in brazil, heavily competing in india and might lose alot of money in india because of google and walmart.
    The only business of amazon is doing good is cloud business which is again facing many competitors
    Overall amazon is overvalued and the debt for amazon is getting expensive.

  • @drewskiintergalactic3042

    Walmart has treated there customers poorly for a very long time and it's only been a year or so that they have changed there attitude .

  • @technologylover9183
    @technologylover9183 Před 7 lety +1

    Well Amazon is charging more and more customers sales tax now... even in states they shouldn't be. That is going to swing the tide back to Walmart. If I have to pay sales taxes of say $50 when I buy a drone... I might as well buy it from Target and walk out with it immediately without having to pay a monthly fee (Prime) to get decent shipping time and costs. When internet sellers get more expensive the the brick and mortars which is quickly approaching then the Amazons of the world are coming to a screeching halt. My guess is it will be to late to fix the problem because once Amazon starts charging sales taxes to a particular states customers it will not be able to reverse the policy. Buffet blew it this time.

    It's only by accident that WMT has the sales it has. WMT has done nothing inspirational, nothing ground-breaking and only delivers a "fix-as-we-go" business model. Internally, my gawd, listen to their sharpest employees who have left for better opportunity. There is this aura of top-down only directives from a naive Corporate trying to re-invent retail from an ivory tower with an abundance of superfluous re-modifications ; zero, I mean ZERO feedback from their people on the front lines who have decades of retail experience and better to tap into how to improve the direction of retailing, yet these young, online degree Corporate demigods know it all. WMT does not have a wining formula. Buffet has to know this will not end well and rightfully, voted with his money. As Andrew Grove would have put it, this is a prime inflection point for retail.

      Nothing more "evil and exploitative" than extorting and confiscating Big Brother governments.

      Treat your employees better and you would not see near as much turnover. Managers can be very disrespectful to workers. Hard workers have came and went from there so many times I cannot keep count. I was an employee who worked midnight shift for 10 years. I seen many things in my 10 years .Favoritism being a big one at Walmart. Gossiping all over. Just not a great environment to work in. I met some wonderful people there in my 10 years of employment. I miss them but never miss the stressful job. It just seems to be you never did enough. I'm very happy with my decision to leave the company. I wish all who remain the very best of luck.
