  • Terminal Gravity Acceleration Warhead is the concept of both using and controlling gravitational fields in a way to create a stable but extremely dangerous weapon. It works a lot like an HEAT were the initial reaction shoots a object into it creating greater damage.

      Imagine building that railgun as a defense mechanism on your base.

    • @Smetanol_
      @Smetanol_ Před 10 lety +48

      EariosRandomness It's not supposed to be on base, it would be very difficult to use.
      So basicly building giant movable and turnable space cannon with storage of stone is the most cheap way of destroying big ships/stations.(and you can even make it into shotgun!!!)
      I'm not sure how would you make that thing into turret, cause you would probably endup using rotors, that would result in way too manual targeting, and still you would get blind zones for being attacked.
      Railgun ship though can be really small (only one gravity generator(get more for higher speedup), conveyor setup with storage and deploying mechanism(that probably is the most dificult part of this ship), few engines, gyro and generator, and cockpit ofcourse)
      You even can disassemble full of stone storage just infront of gravity generator to get REALLY big rock.(though it's just one use, but with power of a old spice body wash!!!)

      no, the gravity field inside the torpedo is equal, and you will have the same gravity pull no matter how much generators you have (i think) and then they will affect the rock after it went into the ship, out of the torpedo gravity field which means it will crush the bottom of the ship

      yes, for destroying (stationary) ships or bases with gravity generators, you should probably use a weapon that doesn't rely on gravity. maybe the lotus or something like that. for non-stationary ships, i think this weapon is not good anyway, because small ships can dodge it very easily and big ships will probably not have much trouble with shooting it down before it reaches it's target.

On contact with the target, the magnetic field is released, the anti-matter annihilate with the target matter and release an incredible amount of energy in the form of a colossal explosion.

    That is just... That is beautiful. I loved your grappling hook idea with the claw and what not, but THIS! This is just wonderful. So many times have I wished to be able to get through heavy armor in the past, in various other video games, but you just can't with normal explosives. This idea though is just genius. You get the kind of penetration needed to go through heavy armor. Now if only you could stick explosives to that rock or put more than one rock inside. Get a shotgun effect going on. Why use one rock when you can use several? Hahah... So many good ideas. Also I love the ship's design.

    i like how you show us just what happens when an object is used to attack another object. but, what i think would be really cool to see is something along the lines of a small warhead (like some of the ones in your other videos like a torpedo or something) hitting a target (large ship preferably) the target being something that you would see in a practical survival game with say like maybe a protective outer layer of heavy armor in exposed parts with light armor in less exposed areas i.e. inside corners protected from the design of the ship with about the thickness of about 1(outer layer of heavy armor) + 1-1.5 thickness of heavy or light armor, i say 1.5 because of angles and the sort. anyways it would be really cool to see you do something like this

    can't u simply make the missiles themselves a ship with the back of them having some small quarters for crew and doors on the side so u can have an aircraft carrier spit em out and they'll ram into ships, breach, dock, and board. I think that'd be pretty neat. anyway great design truly ingenious 11/10 IGN that's A-Ok to me pal

  • @actualhyena
    @actualhyena Před 10 lety

    An updated version of this would probably have a grouped set of thrusters, eliminating the need to go to ramming speed. Merge blocks could be set to release it, meaning not only will the warhead be calculated in the Center-of-Mass, but this could completely add a whole new level of control to your design. I wouldn't mind a look back at this.

  • @morerobot6927
    @morerobot6927 Před 9 lety +1

    I would have made a slimmer missile that holds a small cargo container and connector. Then design it to kind of latch on to the enemy ship somehow, perhaps landing gear that automatically locks on to the enemy ship. Once locked on, turn on the gravity generators which are designed to accelerate mass, and then launch mass constantly out of the connector. Until the enemy ship can remove it, you will have this thing flinging deadly mass continuously into the hull of the other ship.
    ALSO: Instead of relying on your ships speed to release the torpedo at whatever speed you were going, use either a thruster or gravity launcher to launch the torpedo from the launch tube. You could also use a "conveyor" of wheels with a landing gear at the rear end for loading and holding the missile.

    What about putting a warhead inside the gravity well?

    • @JacobAvnerPr1mus3
      @JacobAvnerPr1mus3 Před 10 lety +4

      Putting in a warhead would simply explode. His weapon would send a large rock through the ship. If the stone is embedded and the victim tries to move, the rock will shear through the ship. For explosives, you can just put a very simple missile together.

    • @101m4n
      @101m4n Před 10 lety +1

      This works because the rock cannot be destroyed.
      These days with artificial mass, you can use a gravity generator to accelerate a "cloud" of warheads. Far cheaper and more devastating, even than this :)
