Thanks for all the comments everyone, I blummin love all the interaction! For those asking, the full audio pod is available every Sunday on Spotify, Google pod and very soon it'll be on Apple đ
I bummin love the cast!! You should do a carling Cup special and get some of the old blues players on!! Gardener, Johnston stephan car would be amazing!!
You're so out of touch with reality Foster . 90% of kids up and down the country drink with their mates at 14/15 . If you don't you're classed as a weirdo. MAYBE .....MAYBE different now as the kids do drugs much earlier . I grew up in late 90's early 00's as a teenager and drugs were for ''junkies'' and it was how much you could drink . The naviety to say 14/15 year olds dont drink is incredible
Thanks for having me on team , you boys were classđ and thanks for all the messages from everyone , if youâre struggling with anything , talk people x
What a guy.. pleasure having u on mate. Looking forward to plenty more content with you in the future
Wow,I watched Soccer AM for years, and Never knew about the Drinking.Well Done Tubes.
I was the same tubes, I'm 25 and two years sober now but for a couple of years I'd have two bottles of wine before I'd even get out of bed and a bottle of vodka and a few beers for the rest of the day. Passing out every couple of hours for an hour or so. Lost everything but in a couple of years my life has done a total 180 and I've never been happier. Stay strong tubesy lad đȘ
Tubes your a bloody legend!
Fair play tubes
Fair play to tubes heâs turned his life around! Plus has a sick trim now!
Sick is a bit of an overstatement
@@emanuel6693 more like has hair now
It's still a shambles tbh
My mum had a drink problem for 6 years most people don't understand, being a alcoholic isn't a choice it's a illness, So much respect for tubes coming out and speaking about this đđ
More people that talk about this, will make others understand and realise that what you have said is so right â
Itâs not really a choice or an illness, itâs an addiction
Some have more addictive mentalities but you always have a choice
@@ryanfletcher1899 I guess people are forcefed alcohol then
@@harryhazard719 clearly you donât understand what an addiction is, so ignorant
I met Tubes after Chelsea beat Wigan to win the league. He was drinking like a fish and off his rocker, but still one of the nicest blokes I've ever come across. Happy to see he's got help and turned it around.
Was he ever on the coke?
@@djw69 of course
As someone who is currently fighting addiction after a life changing injury you boys donât understand how important it is for people like you to speak about things like this, Thankyou
So pleased you appreciate the pod
All the best for next year mate back where you belong đđ»
Never met Tubes, but he's one of the soundest blokes you could interact with. DM'd him on Insta saying his golf channel had re inspired me to play golf after about 15 years not playing. Sent me a voice note in return. What a guy â€
Tubes is a class act, this proves anyone can turn it around
Fair play to tubes I know whereâs heâs coming fromâŠI used to drink heavy and had to stop otherwise I would drank myself to death. Total respect to him to be so openâŠ
What an absolute legend! Not many people can talk about their addiction like this! Keep going!!
Absolutely class Ben is so good at talking and asking the real questions. And tubes what a guy been through so much but is still here to help and guide others.
Have such huge respect for anyone who can speak so openly about personal struggles like this. Very hard thing to do, fantastic interview.
I remember I was with Tubes in 2015 outside Stamford bridge after we won the title against Palace. He was singing and shouting, you could tell heâd been on the piss and we was all loving it but little did I know that he was going through it at the time. Glad to see that heâs overcome his addiction đ Inspirational stuff
Love how open tubes is with his addiction, itâs helped me being more open with my gambling addiction
3 years clean of Gambling and drugs addiction here mate. Hit a low point in my life and was living in a bedsit doing ÂŁ1k of coke a week and would play poker constantly through the night just for something to do to keep my mind active. Lost Hundreds of thousands on buying the coke and losing. Was horrible. Hope you stick to it mate. Meetings helped me hugely. Good luck on your journey, mate. All my love with you.
@@chriswilson8506 nice words mate, glad youâre doing well! Keep it up. And thanks a lot.
Great to hear
Can't help but ask mate....but ÂŁ1K of coke a week? Do you still have a nose?
@@weSnooker At ÂŁ50/ÂŁ60 a gram, you'd be doing 16-20 grams/bags a week?
Massive respect tubes, biy different but I'm 4 weeks quit gambling and I'm preying this is it now...I'm doing ga and self excluded from everywhere so trying my best.
Could listen to your story all day for inspiration
Massive respect for Tubes .. The battle he had with himself .. man we can do anything in the world if we set our minds to it .. wow .. I've been trying to find my own battles at the moment and this video has been inspiring to me .. I'll have a better outlook towards life and turn it around for good
Great snippet again. Can't wait for the full episode. Tubes class as always talking so honestly about his alcoholism. Fair play to him reaching out to others to help them too. Definitely both your channels up there ony go to CZcams watches đđđ
I remember reading Keith Chegwins book a couple years ago - again a well known funny guy with a hidden drink problem - reading I felt a huge disappointment and sadness when he said he fell off the wagon. Ultimately, we know what happened to Keith. Im absolutely thrilled that Tubes has come through it a better person - well done Tubes and thanks Ben for a great interview - up the Baggies
Ben, these podcasts are brilliant keep them up mate, and getting the legend Tubes on the show is amazing, keep it up mate
This is legendary in every way. Massive respect to all of you for being so open. Role models đđŒ
Brilliant. Power to you both for getting out of the addiction and sharing your stories
Ben love your podcasts they are Brilliant! I'm a Birmingham fan and I met u a couple of times in brum on nights out! Absolute legend and a different class goalkeeper aswell as an all round topman KRO
brilliant vlog this ben foster ,i remember watching peter aka tubes open his heart up about alcoholism and his heart attack and how he knew he had to change his life and kick the habit .
Well done Tubes for overcoming your addiction. A good friend of mine was not so lucky, he didn't survive the heart attack at the age of 30. It's an awful sickness. Wishing you the best
Well done Tubes, very brave and candid and youâll help so many people out speaking so honestly. Big love đ
What pleasure to see 3 lads talking about life and open much respect from Kingston upon Hull âïžâïžâïž
Absolutely awesome and a no nonsense conversation, keep at it Tubes & thank you Ben đđ
đđđ
Great honesty. We started drinking at around 13, if my kids had/would do that Iâd go mad. And up until 30âs got absolutely smashed. But never alcoholic status despite work being full of alcoholic. Had a mate who literally drank himself to death, liked it too much. Another gave up twenty years ago, and he was a professional alcoholic. Same story about needing a bottle of vodka by his bed. He lost a week and then ten days not knowing what had happened
Tubes proper good lad to listen to! Great content and so insightful to hear the stories, love it as always lads
Respect to tubes for discussing this as it cannot be easy, he must have serious inner strength to get through what he has been through, he must have had some very dark days đđ»đđ»đđ»đđ»
Just 3 top blokes chatting about deep stuff us men shy away from... love it đđđ
Ben you should get Will Hughes on the Fozcast
That would be good
Ben: Hey Will, welcome to the Fozcast!
Will: Fuck off.

really good work so far on the pod fozzy! Presuming you've got loads of new ideas coming up
Big up for talking about this issue. Congrats Tubes â€ïžâ€ïž
14/15 is so so normal where I live. I was smoking can pipes at 11 and regularly dropping ecstacy by 15. Not coincidentally, I ended up in AA aswell :D
Love your videos Ben! Great Podcast âœïžđ€đ„
I remember tubes being the heart beat off soccer am back in the days with his skits and he would make everyone laugh. But it shows people fight private battles than no one knows about just to show not everyone lives the perfect life. Please be kind to everyone. Love and respect â€ïž
Tubes is the best character soccer am has had
Really enjoying these podcasts đ„đ„đ„

Hats off to Tubes for sharing his story and helping others
Yes , big fan Ben . Keep up the good work
Great content guys!! Love it!!
Thanks
Tubes is a proper decent bloke. Wish him all the happiness in the world.
It seems clear how important support networks are to help people see where occasions of bad choices or less than ideal choices can become patterns of bad behaviour. Having one too many one too many times is one thing, or one bad financial decision one too many times, but anything more has to be identified before it begins to ruin lives.
Asked a question that Iâve been looking for in this podcast, Iâve been searching and watching tubes alcohol talks just for someone to ask this certain question and find the responses so thank you
Nothing but respect for this guy đđ
love the pod ben!
Great podcast, again Fozzy!

Love the pod!
Ben Foster is the friend every bloke would want. Top man.

Fair play to him for being honest. I clicked on this video and the advert that came up was for Heineken. Sad. We have normalised alcohol addiction in society.

starting drinking at 15 is pretty standard, most people don't go on to full on addiction from that
Up most respect for tubes

Hi Ben Iâm going to Stevenage VS Watford next week I was wondering if you are going
Good luck back in prem. I think Watford will do well.
Ben youâre addicted to buying trainers thatâs your vice. Collection is đ„ though.
Hey, Ben - is there any chance we could have a Cycling GK Fantasy Football league? I'll probably set my team up once and forget about it, but it could be fun!
Big respect to tubes for telling his story, somewhere it could help someone, Good to see him healthy after everything he's been through apart from the drinking
Legend Tubes
Had a few relatives pass away from alcohol abuse when I was a kid, itâs a very tough and slippery slope and Iâm so pleased to see Tubes better again.
Great to see a Warwick lad like yourself Ben succeed. All the best from a local lad too đđ»đđ»
