Knowing every album front to back and forever still finding one that becomes my new favorite, even though I’ve listened to them since I bought them in the late 70s. Everything written has something to offer. Very few artists have done that. None of the bands being signed in this year will ever be able to make that claim.

@@bongopirate0672 the problem with Boston was they essentially only made 2 albums. There third one was like a decade later, and aside from sounding like the trademark ‘band’ it was kinda just the exact same as the original albums. I see the ‘band’ has released a grand total of 6 albums, one per decade, they fall nowhere in the category of Led Zeppelin.
Firstly, every Boston song sounds like a Tom Scholz production because his trademark guitar sounds are nearly all because of his electronic signature sounding gizmos.
Having dozens of cast members adds to their lack of being a cohesive unit. The Stones are the rolling stones, with a selection of guitar players, but the same unit overall.
Deep Purple, they fall under the revolving door category. The first decade was relevant. Nothing after the 80s was groundbreaking.
      TULL, same.
Aerosmith, a solid piece of band craft. Killer, dead for awhile, killer-ish again and essentially still the same as the original. Five excellent albums, a couple ok albums during the addicted years, and they returned with lots of great hits, but still not as good as the first 5.
Sabbath. Same, sort of. 5 great albums followed by a couple really solid albums with Dio, a series of member rotations, making a series of rather sorry albums and finally as their coda they released 13 with all the original members and actually made something special. I bought it, half expecting garbage, but it was not the let down I feared. Not as great as the first ones, but certainly worth my money.
Few bands have a really truly unique sound. Many have a unique sound or style, but most just pale in comparison.
Boston, you’ve heard one song, you can always know it’s a Boston song. But they aren’t so amazingly crafted songs that can be called timeless.

This is a darn good video of great band!!!!.... I have heard other people say Plants voice at the start of this song is like an air raid siren... The one thing I know for sure is the man has a great vocal range!!!! His stage presence is animal-like. He commands the stage & audience big time!!!!!!!

This was one of the songs age 15 I would be working out with weights and exercising for a couple hours. Our hometown NW Tenn small town would play song like this high energy for two hours around 8 to 10 pm. I would work with the beats getting ready for my football towards county high school from jr high. Having to complete with five other county jr. high schools for running back, I had to ensure of the speed and strength, which I became second to the junior all star running back. Thanks for listening to the sounds of what I grew up with from mid 50s and till now.

I'm so glad you did another Led Zeppelin song. If you're going to do more, I would recommend an epic version of Kashmir (Live at Knebworth 1979) (Official Video). Led Zeppelin never plays the same song in the same way. This version has by far the best and clearest vocals which will give you a lot to react to. Another good choice would be Since I've Been Loving You live at MSG 1973.

I tried to buy tickets to Led Zeppelin in 1975 in Miami and there was a riot that took place. Like 30,000 people showed up at ticket master and there was a delay. People didn't want to hear about the delay. They started tearing down the fences and all hell broke loose. Zeppelin decided not to have a concert there. The Miami Harold put a full page ad. Apologizing for what happened. Ticket back then were $7.50, for general audience acceptance.

Hello Magee Renee, Led Zeppelin's first album pretty much establishes who they are. The recording quality shows how it should be done. We use to drive around with it playing on the 8 track, so it all seems like one song to me. A song that I recommend they first did on their third album, but I prefer the one done by Paige and Plant on their acoustic album of 1994 " No Quarter ". The song is titled " Gallows Pole " or more often " Gallis Pole ". This is a favorite. CZcams video: Robert Plant & Jimmy Page 'Gallows Pole' - Jools Holland Show 1994 BBC
