  • Vostroya may have emerged physically unscathed from the Horus Heresy, but that does not mean the galactic civil war did not have a lasting effect upon it. The regiments raised there are testament to this, unflinching warriors paying the debt of their ancestors to the Emperor.

    I figured they pass the weapons along because every generation brings their own weapons to the old regiment and so the upper class first born bring Master crafted weapons. Over the milenia they have acquired a surplus of them and give the new guys the Master crafted weapons whose owner has died and stow the Galaxy patern one into storage. Over the millenia the vostroyans have only the best waepons the regiment has ever been issued, active at any one time

    Vostroya crafts only the finest to send to the regiments, because every man and woman who works those workshops has a son or brother in the Guard, and are willing to pay much of their earnings to keep them alive.

    From what I read in White Dwarf during the Vostroyan's release, the only warm parts of the world are the giant factora.
    Did they ret-con that and then forget to remove the cold-speciality?

    You would really expect this type of draft to be more common. Especially on an industry world.

      Maybe it is, but the unique circumstances of Vostroya makes them especially well known! Such is the scale of the Imperium, we may never know.

    Everyone is saying Cossaks.... but come one we all know they are actually Streltsy: they wear red, they have the same type of battle tactics and (somehow) similar equipment.

    • @Motorius9000
      @Motorius9000 Před 4 lety

      I'd say that they are a blend of cossacks and streltsy and other warrior/ soldier/ fighter cultures. But in all essentiality, you're making a very good point.

    What's your take on Crawl using traitor geneseed for the Primarines? Shall we see a second Cursed Founding before long?

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 6 lety +2

      Personally, I would say not soon - we will need time with the Primaris and the current setting before moving the plot again in a big way.

    could u do some lore videos on the different space marine armours as well as the tanks, and unit divisions for all the races in 40k

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 6 lety

      I covered Power Armour in my video called "Making a Space Marine" so you can look there for that! I broke down the Eldar Aspect Warriors in my video on the Phoenix Lords, as well as some strains of Tyranids and Daemons in their respective videos but I don't think I'll be doing it for every race as that isn't particularly "stories".

    NON RELATED QUESTIONS. Thumbs up so I can get answers from an expert on this matter.!!
    Never undersood how Kabanda defeated The Angel tho Lorgar fucked up Anggrath in the warp even lol. Kabanda isnt even near the power of Anggrath.
    There are loads of inconsistencies in the 40k lore.
    The lion being defeated by Luther who isnt even a fully fledged spacemarine. He equals to a random mutant with Chaos blessings but its still The Lion ffs.
    Kabanda defeating The Angel although The Angel being far more powerful.
    The Emperor being "choked to death by a random orc warboss is pretty fucking retarded aswell, how can the single most powerful entity in realspace maybe allround be fucking choked by a random orc ffs hahaha.
    Same goes for Horus, The Emp could have smoked him with a glance.
    In addition, Horus "killed" the Emp but was killed by fagbaddon even tho baddon wasnt even blessed by the gods at the time whilst Horus was in his full heresy armor including his mace.
    Answer me this please

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 6 lety

      Right, let me take those one at a time;
      Luther was massively empowered by the Dark Gods, plus we don't know much fighting Lion had had to do to reach him. A "regular" Luther would have certainly lost, but given the power of Chaos we have to assume they brought him up to Lion's level.
      Signus Prime was an ambush, the Blood Angels were unprepared - remember that on Terra, Sanguinius broke Ka'bandha over his knee. Yes An'ggrath is amongst the most powerful of Khorne's Bloodthirsters, but the Chaos Gods needed Lorgar alive to be their demagogue and bring about the Horus Heresy (and Lorgar ascended Angron, so Khorne wanting him to win might be fair).
      The battle on Gorro involved a massive and augmented Warboss - bear in mind the size and power of the Beast, so is it that unbelievable that one could be of that size/bigger before and could catch the Emperor off-guard/isolate him etc?
      See what I said re Luther and Lion for Horus and Emps - Horus got his power from Molech, just as the Emperor did, so them being on the same power level isn't that unbelievable.
      Finally, Horus-clone was not on the same power level as Horus from the Battle of Terra. Yes, Abaddon beating him is odd, it's probably the trickiest to explain, but Abaddon did have Horus' Talon and destroyed Worldbreaker with it.
      Bear in mind that there are of course inconsistencies - different authors have different perspectives and the books have different protagonists/scenarios. Hope that helped.
