- Peak District wild camp in January overlooking the city of Sheffield.
A three course french style meal comprising of tiger prawns, tuna steak and creme brulee, and of course plenty of wine.
Later on in the video we will have a look at what videos I have planned for 2020
An inspiration ! I’m just an old guy looking to have a bit fun before dementia or the grim reaper come for me, and your videos make me want to just go do it . Thank you 👍

Just sitting here at home in France remembering how I watched this the first time round with all your plans for the following months.....Who'd have thought how bizarre our lives would become. I'm sure a lot of us would happily return to the days when that fantastic tent was new. Thanks Pat.
Hi Richard, lovely to hear from you, I had so many plans back then, Last march 2020, I had a flight booked for berlin, at 2-00 in the mornimhg due to a few cases of covid in Germany i deceided not to go, little did I think 15 months later I havbe not ventured out of my local area....unbelievable....all the best Pat

You inspire me Patrick. I resurrected my 30 year-old Macpac Olympus tent. I’m planning a motorbike camping tour around the North & maybe the South Island of NZ in Feb/March. After watching this I might leave my dried food packets behind & buy fresh food at a supermarket for the evening meal (:

Believe it or not, just down the road from Pats camp is a pub that dates back hundreds of years called the hammer and pincers. It used to be a blacksmith s until it became a pub in 1750. Bear baiting took place in what is now the beer garden until the landlord was mauled by a bear and he put an end to it.

Hi Lee, yes really gives a new dimension to the ares I camp in, my drone is a Mavic Air, cost a fortune but such a amazing piece of equipment, would not be without it now, thanks Pat

Another top video Pat, Im recovering from back surgery after a yacht race injury last year and watching yours and other guys Camping and similar vids have really helped get me through things. I sore your new video pop up on my phone at work and couldn’t wait to get home to watch it. I’m still going back to your older videos to watch again like Winter woodland wild camp and Spring camp turns into winter camp and many more. In a way I’m glad you don’t add annoying music throughout your videos great at the start and end but Just listening to you and the natural sounds of the environment is what’s it’s all about. Love your cooking on remote camp sites.

A great video to start of your 2020 year of adventures with your wild camping trips. I always love your cooking skills when in a tent better food than some can do in a kitchen, and the drone make a good addition with the aerial photography to really show off the remote area you're in.
