Soccer sets are not super popular here in the USA, but the sales globally will be significant. Unfortunately Baseball and Football are unlikely to get the same treatment because almost no one outside of the USA could care less about these sports.

Hey, thanks for this video, it is particularly useful if you live near a Lego store, or stores. It is especially good because for the most part, these are the only sets still available in Lego stores when there are better gwps in the fall, with less than 6 months before retirement. Since you been selling for many years like myself, & if your near stores, you've also probably had the struggles with sets on the retirement list that disappear from Lego stores well before year end online retirement. Particularly frustrating when you pass on sets with great gwps in Jan - Mar, because it's too early, then the gwps in the summer aren't as good, while the product is not being shipped to the stores anymore, then finally a good gwp arrives say in Sept, Oct, or Nov, but now all the product we had our eyes on, is no longer being shipped to the stores. This of course, was not the case prior to say 2021, where you could wait until Black Friday morning, & go to your local Lego stores, & stock up as much as they would let you on sets retiring within a few weeks, some of these sets would not only come at 30% off, but also a great gwp, like the 2019 Christmas Tree 40338, spend was only $100, the following year the tree was going for $80-$100 on Ebay. Many times retiring sets would still arrive in Lego stores as late as January , after they were sold out online. I would even call stores around the country & some would do phone orders with me,, the year of the Ferris Wheel, I got multiples with gwps this way. I remember as recently as January of 2021 how Stranger Things Upside down arrived in droves at stores, 4 months later it had doubled. Ah the good ole days........., how I miss them! So with these new challenges in the stores, it's very useful to know the Lego exclusives, & which have a better chance of lingering into the fall season.
I appreciate the detailed comment! Yeah it can be a gamble with in store stock sometimes, just have to take calculated risks and hope for the best haha.

It’s my understanding that the Daffodils is only getting a package rebrand not really retiring. They want to make it more consistent with the other creator flower sets AND it likely won’t be an 18+ set after the rebrand. Which is weird because they say nothing will change except for the look of the packaging.

Based off this research, I’m going to feel confident buying them once we see the October retirement list! Can’t know 100% for sure, but it’s a calculated risk. Also don’t want to wait till December and they go out of stock early either haha.

What’s up man. How do you feel about set 43227 the Disney Villains icons???? It’s constantly on back order or sold out at all retailers and is hitting over $200 on eBay even though it just came out. What say you?
It’ll definitely be a set to watch! It’s not projected to retire this year so I haven’t been watching it too much. It is a Target exclusive though, so the supply will be limited! If it’s always in and out of stock throughout it’s life, it definitely could be a winner!

Next time there is a good GWP promotion from LEGO, I’ll be posting either a video or short going over my strategy for getting the biggest discount possible. Not all GWPs are equal, just need to be selective on which ones you get.

Regarding the Haunted Mansion set, there are also rumors of an Ariel's Palace being added in addition to the Agrabah castle from Aladdin.
I love this set. I have 12 of them so far, and yes I am bummed it's still on sale for $27.99 as it has put it more on people's radar. I did pick up 5 at that price with GWPs and Rakuten though.

What do you recommend for spreadsheets for your inventory? Do you have a file format we can use?
I created my own spreadsheet in Excel to track inventory, you can get a peek at it in either my best or worst investments of 2022 videos. I’m starting a LEGO investing Patreon group next month and my spreadsheet will be one of the perks for joining, so be on the lookout for the announcement if you’re interested!
How do you go about getting more quantity than the quantity limits on lego store exclusives. Do you make regular trips to physical lego stores?
I don’t live super close to a LEGO store, so I don’t get to go in as much as I’d like. Another way some people get around quantity limits is by creating multiple accounts with different addresses, names, payment, etc.
My Father and a friend shop for me if I want a set more. Depending on your location Legoland does or did sell in their own online store, you don't get vip points for them there but same price.

What do you think for investing in 21042 for 60€?
I’m not very familiar with the LEGO market in other regions outside of the US unfortunately. But I will say that it’s not projected to retire this year, so you’ll have a pretty long hold time if you buy now. I also question how well the Statue of Liberty could perform outside of the US…
By the way, there's seems to be a great Harry Potter gwp coming on 9/1, but the question is, what retiring 2023 HP sets will be available in the stores?
